I suggest Playstation Gold Wireless Headset. Very comfy. Long battery life (7-8 hours). People say I sound just fine, no complaints at all. Great sound, virtual surround sound. Made for Playstation. They also have an app you download and you can upload EQs for different games/modes even! And, 80 bucks. Honestly, best bang for the buck you're going to find. Also, 4.5/5 stars on Amazon. Not bad, right?

Or my surround sound system. Or my smartphone. Yes, rough housing your technology may result in a shorter life. I've had my headset. I love the way it folds up. I've dropped it. I've used it for about 6 months. Never had troubles, As you can see, it's obviously held up well for other people too, or it would be reviewed much lower than it is. Your input is noted. One person on here had one bad experience. Someone tell Sony to recall them immediately! ;) EDIT: Judging by the reviews of your preferred Elites, more people are claiming they are more likely to break, uncomfy, and lack on battery life. Although they do get 4 stars, the Playstation Golds are at 4.5 stars without the bad negs often stated for the Elites. If you look up independent reviews comparing the 2, many people agree the Golds are a better choice, especially when price is factored in.

You'll find (if you actually look) that many more people have trouble with the pulse headset cracking in the band than people having technical trouble with their Gold headset.

Saying something is better because it "costs more" is actually quite stupid. I've supported my posts with facts. You gave your opinion. My opinion is supported by facts. The golds are an excellent product for the cost. Where is your proof of your opinion? If you're going to shit on mine you better have damn good reason. If your friends' headset was faulty, why not return to get them fixed or refunded? They come with a warranty. Unless he abused the hell out of them, that is.
