Just my thought, that game doesn't come out till sometime in 2015 but I think it could take away a lot of players from destiny

3 RespuestasDivision does look awesome and will buy it. Only problem is ubisoft......don't believe the hype!!

1 RespuestaI've known no one the sticks to one game and one game only. The whole "take away" can be said for any game. Regardless of that fact there are people what will continue to play it. If people really like a game they'll come back and play it again. If they get bored they'll play something else. Back and forth like the tides. Pretty rare for a game to be completely abandoned unless it wasn't popular to begin with or they drop support.
-
Completely different genres that satisfy different needs.
-
What? I play more than one game, just because I like a new game doesn't mean I need to stop playing to old ones.
-
The what?

Ubisoft the masters of microtransactions

It was re announced for a December 2015 launch would means basically late 2016
-
2015? Where'd you here that? It's closer to fall 2016...
-
The Division only has 1 playable area, New York... Destiny has Old Russia... Then other planets...
-
Destiny will be like most games. The first few months we will play a lot and then go play some other games and the play some Destiny and the something else will come out. To Awnser your question though, yes it will hurt Destiny. I am way more excited for The Division than for Destiny.
-
If destiny has the content to warrant me playing it that long, I'll stay on it.
-
Come February the Witcher 3 will put a hurting on it too.
-
ehh. player preference . 3rd person shooter 1st person shooter odds are. Most gamers will buy Both. i will be.
-
1 RespuestaI think the Division will be the perfect game to go hand in hand with Destiny. Not much need for any others games for a while after those two are both out.
-
There are multiple games out there that will "hurt" Destiny.
-
Hell a new Skyrim DLC would crater Destiny's population.

Yeah but that game looks like a bitch to build. The original E3 trailer for it reminded me of the Halo 2 E3 trailer.. a non-working demo of a game that's nowhere near working the way it does in the video. The fact that a year later they showed pretty much the same exact thing makes me wonder how long till they can deliver it.
-
You do realize they are in different genres, right?
-
9 RespuestasI'm not buying it at release like watch dogs. Ubisoft already confirmed that the graphics are being down graded just like they did with watch dogs. Those video's you see on internet are gameplay from monster pc's that's why everything looks so awesome.
-
I don't think so, the division still doesn't have a release date and could be delayed again. http://metro.co.uk/2014/05/21/the-division-could-be-delayed-to-2016-admits-developer-4735570/

The Division is a tactical shooter. It's a different game type compare to Destiny. Although I am really looking forward to that game.

With how the Uplay servers were with watchdogs I really doubt they can stand up for this game
