If you call the wyverns from Skyrim dragons…
You're a complete casul. Dragons have [b][i][u]6[/u][/i][/b] limbs(4 arms/legs and wings). Wyverns only have [b][i][u]4[/u][/i][/b]. [b][i][u]FACT[/u][/i][/b]
Plus the wyverns in Skyrim are completely pathetic and you you should be castrated if you're ever killed by one.

Dragons have two subcategories: The wyverns and the drakes (the traditional dragons). Wyverns are in Skyrim and Game of Thrones. Smaug is a drake.

I'll agree to your original point, but i'd rather face any of them in dark souls a thousand times over the ones on skyrim on legendary difficulty. Even if they had the same amount of health and damage. I.E the "ancient" dragon in dks2.

"dragon" is a term that broadly connects any reptilian creature between cultures. as defined by webster; 1: archaic : a huge [b]serpent[/b] 2: a mythical animal usually represented as a monstrous winged and scaly [b]serpent[/b] or saurian with a crested head and enormous claws 3: a violent, combative, or very strict person 4 capitalized : draco 5: something or someone formidable or baneful chinese, japanese, and korean dragons are all very similar, 4 legs, two hornes and no wings. indian and south east asian dragons called naga have, typically, no limbs and one huge forward protruding horn,no wings. the king of which having 3 heads resembling a hydra. the hydra, is more commonly referred to as a serpent, but other drakes in greek mythology are generally described as serpents also, often with no limbs and multiple heads. the norse dragon, nidhogg, is described as having wings, but usually depicted as a limbless serpent. DnD and final fantasy describe a bahamut as a dragon, though in actual mythology, it is a giant fish-like monster with the head of an elephant. both komodo and bearded dragons, the only REAL, FACTUAL dragons by name, have 4 limbs and no wings. prescribing to one subclass relating to a broad general term as definition is so casual. also, ITS NOT REAL. so there is that.

Saying that a wyvern isn't a dragon because it has four limbs instead of six is like saying a bass guitar isn't a guitar because it only has four strings (typically). It's still a dragon.

That said, if you get to know the wyvern a bit better you will learn that it is related to the dragon and is often referred to as a cousin of the dragon. Therefore they have dragon blood, thusly can be classified as a type of dragon. However, I do agree that the wyverns in skyrim are not amazing enough to be worthy of killing a dragonborn.
