Do you think there will be Private Games in Destiny?
The title is exactly what I'd like to discuss. The game is less than a month away and no announcement of private games has happened. This makes me fear the possibility that there will not be private matches unlike in all of the past Bungie games.

1 RespuestaDestiny is an always-online, shared-world shooter. Play with your privates on your own time. :-P All kidding aside, I doubt we'll see such a feature at the Release. If it does come about, it'll likely be with one of the upcoming DLCs.

1 RespuestaDo we know? No. But I can't imagine we wouldn't have custom games. Bungie has pretty much been the leaders in the industry regarding custom games and their settings. I can't imagine they would abandon that now.

1 RespuestaI feel like "custom games" is misleading. I think the OP means private lobbies for pvp matches and to explore the maps outside of regular public matchmaking. You know, the most essential components for competitive play.

As long as loot and exp gain is turned off, I have no problem with it. Some people like to exploit that type of stuff.

2 RespuestasI cant see it happening on launch, and I don't see it happening later. I doubt Bungie wants to deal with issues like boosting and having to deny players rewards for actions in game (something I thought they handled well with Reach). It would have been a nice feature though, for someone like myself who prefers to play competitive modes with friends rather than via matchmaking.

I haven't seen any info confirming yes or no. But I would definitely like to see this in the full game. Since I won't be able to enjoy splitscreen with friends like the good old days (Ah LAN parties...), I would at least like to have some way of playing with a bunch of my friends in a similar fashion. That has always been custom games.
