Who Lives on Their Own?
Anyone on here who can afford to live on their own comfortably?

Yea i've been living on my own since i was 18. At 19, i got married and haven't had privacy since then. Im 25 now. I think in America, you almost need a roommate to make it with the cost of living being so high.

Not quite yet, hoping to be financially able to do so in a couple years. If I can afford to move into even a small yet comfortable place by the time i'm twenty-four or twenty-five, i'll be happy.

Not me. Ugh! I'm never alone. There's me, my husband, 7 children, 3 cats, 1 dog, and 5 fish. No alone time ever. :(

I'd do it with my girlfriend once we get decent jobs that pay at least 12 dollars an hour. By myself? That's too difficult.

I'm 36 and I've never had my own place, surprisingly. I went from living with friends, to having my own place with roommates, to living with my girlfriend (now wife). At this point, I hope I never know what it feels like.

From 16 until about 2 months ago(I'm now 19), now I'm back with my parents. The freedom and solitary helped me grow so much as person, my mind was all over the place but it was worth it I like the person I am today.

My dad owns a house that he uses as a lab/office (he owns an archeology company). It has 2 floors, and I live on the top floor. It is pretty comfortable.

Completely on my own? Hell no. But with roommates yes. It's very comfortable and easy going. Money isn't a pinch trap these days
