Just lost a friend of 7 years.
Can't believe it. We had so many great times together. He was always there when I needed him and never judged me or told me I was doing anything wrong. Just accepted me for who I was.
The way he died was tragic and horrific to say the least. He was just sitting there, doing what he does best. He loved music, so he would constantly play. I could ask him to play a certain song by a certain artist and he would without even hesitating. Very talented young man. I was standing next to him while he sat at the base of the cliff just playing his music and enjoying life. I turned around to grab my drink but, accidentally caught the line that tethered him so he wouldn't fall. As I felt the line move I spun around as fast as I could to catch it but, it was too late. There he was at the bottom. Shattered and lifeless.
The pain and sadness I'm feeling has never been matched by anything I've come across in my 23 years. I'll miss you and love you always, brother. We had a great run. You were always there for me when I needed you most, may you rest in pieces.
