SO I have pre-ordered the PS4 Bundle But I have the Xbox One with the limited on pre order. Should I just keep the Xbox one or go for the PS4 Bundle.
The only thing that is worth keeping the Xbox is my Friend but I only play with maybe 5 of them and thats on the xbox 360 GTA V
I don't play any other games anymore other than GTA V and Destiny when it comes out.
I only want serious reasons to help me decide.
I have a guy that is wanting to trade me his new PS4 with 4 games . Which in return I can trade in at Gamestop or Bestbuy for a lot more.
Plus my Xbox Live account is up in October
Is it worth the hassle to switch?
**UPDATE**
Sold the Xbox One

1 RespuestaAll you're friends are on xbox. Save your money & stay there.
we don't want you scum on psn anyways :p
I have owned all playstations and the xbox and the 360. I currently just have the ps4 but plan to get an Xbox one as well. I love games and both companies have great exclusives eventually. I dont care with one people think is better, if your lucky enough to own both then thats what you should do. Maybe when uncharted comes out you could reorder the ps4

To be honest sticking around on a council for some in game friends wouldn't be reason enough for me. Ive been console gaming for a few years now and have had good friends come and go. It isn't to hard making new gamer friends. I would base my decision on which console id prefer to play on or which one releases games more to my liking.

5 RespuestasWhen it was 360 and ps3 coming out, I bought a 360. I wanted to support an American product. Then it broke shortly after my purchase... so I sent it in to be repaired. I lived about an hour away from Microsoft, so I didn't expect much of a wait to get it back. After a few days, I got bored. So I went and bought a ps3 (lol, I have ADD) so I could have both consoles. A month and a half later, I got my xbox back. Then, I broke my ps3. Repeat process... call them up, they send me a box, I send in my system. The same thing Microsoft did for me. I had a brand new ps3 at my door in seven days... THEN MY 360 broke again. Sent it in. Got it back a month later... Then I gave it away (I was very upset). But, for some reason I bought another 360 when the 'slim' came out... maybe it wouldn't break. WRONG! So, never again for me.

15 RespuestasEditado por Spyros: 8/11/2014 10:57:03 PMI'm having a very similar debate with myself Jryxon. Seeing as I'm an IT professional with 8 years of experience, I have some insight on technology and I did my research between the two systems. I have a PS3, a lot of my friends play on Xbox so I was tempted to upgrade to the Xbox One so I could join them, on the other hand I've enjoyed my PS3 and would like to upgrade to the PS4. My decision is to upgrade to the PS4 instead of the Xbox One. The Playstation is a much more "open" system if you're not constantly into hardcore gaming. While the Xbox has more options for being a full home entertainment center, the PS4 doesn't fall far behind and you don't need to pay for a subscription on the PS4 to use "non-gaming" features, you can do ANYTHING but multiplayer online gaming for free on the PS4, where as the Xbox forces you to pay for Gold membership to do anything on it. PS4 also has a nicer controller, I feel. While the Xbox controller may feel nicer in your hand, the PS4 controller has built in motion control, touch pad, speaker, rechargeable battery, etc. It's also going to be the better system for Destiny, which is going to be a huge game for a LONG time. You get the special white console, exclusive DLC, and it's been made clear by Sony and Bungie that they will be working closely together to make PS4 players feel special. EDIT: If it's true that Xbox is dropping the paywall to do non-gaming internet stuff, that's cool. Definitely the right thing to do on Microsoft's part. I'm in no way against the Xbox, but this is like the 10th time Microsoft has made a dick decision for their consoles and then says "Oops, I guess we're being dicks, sorry." and retracts their decision. I don't like Microsoft's attitude here. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth consideration that they dropped the paywall, this makes Xbox the more robust home entertainment solution all around. Playstation is still focusing more heavily on the gaming community, but has plenty of home entertainment options for me.

Good choice

I had an Xbox One since launch and made the switch to PS4 after the Titanfall beta. I had initially planned to own both consoles but I soon saw that there was no point having an Xbox One at all. The PS4 is way better in every way when it comes to gaming.

12 RespuestasI made my decision to buy a ps4 based upon these points. 1. Lack of spectacular 'must have' 360 games. PS+ gives me 2 free games a month, which are usually both quite fun to play. Enough to occupy my time until we start seeing more just haves on next gen. 2. I don't trust Microsoft. Plain and simple. Remember all the weird DRM crap they spewed at E3 a year or two back? I jumped off that bandwagon ASAP. Truly shows their only intention is to make money. (Yeah I know, sony wants to make money too. :p) 3. My friends. For years I had played 360 games with 10-20 close personal and online friends. Nearing the release of the new consoles I realized that most of these players had stopped gaming as much, for whatever reason. Don't let your friends dictate what console you end up with, let them follow you. 4. I hated the dashboard. How much more crap can you jam onto a screen!? Even VIDEO ADS had a place to stay on my dash. Repulsive. 5. I didn't care about all the media functions of XB1. Plain and simple. 6. Dev friendliness and support. We all know devs prefer ps4 because sony fully supports them equally and wants to see them succeed. 7. Product vision. It worried me to see Microsoft jump back and forth on policies, kinect integration and internet use on the XB1. 8. Games. As of today I cannot think of one single game that makes me want an XB1. 9. The Last of Us. 10. While this may me laughable, it is still totally serious...the ability to use any standard headphone/earbud set with the ps4. Did your cat chew up your favorite headset? Don't worry. Find one of the other 14 pairs you have in your junk drawer, plug in and go! These are just my opinions, not saying I'm 100% dead right, it's just how I feel. No matter what you'll enjoy destiny!

Switch to PS4, people will argue all day long but the simple truth is that the PS4 is a more capable piece of hardware and since Halo has been taken over and put in the crapper by 343i the best console exclusives look to be on PS4 (I'm gonna have both by the end of the year, but if I had to choose one I would go with PS4)

Editado por FairlySplendid: 8/12/2014 1:37:07 PMPS4 is a pretty excellent machine. No complaints. Destiny plays more or less seamlessly on the PS4 and PS+ is a way better investment than Gold. More bang for your buck. Even the DS4 controller feels like it was built specifically for Destiny. At one point I entertained the idea of sticking with xbox to preserve my friends list. Then I realized after several conversations and some "soul searching" that 80% of my friends on XBL either (a) Were sticking with 360 (b) Were rarely online after the first two weeks a game is out and (c) Were generally super fickle when it comes to shooters in particular. So I couldn't bank on my XBL friends sticking around for the long-haul. Ultimately, it came down to the realization that whether it's "official" or not... that just how the chips fall. The PS4 is going to be the on-going and continuing lead console for Destiny, with the largest community investment. Both Sony and Bungie make owning Destiny on the PS4 as easy as putting your car in cruise control. You simply sit back and enjoy the ride. So it really wasn't an debate over specs or hardware. It was a "quality of life" decision. I honestly believe Destiny will be a more rewarding experience on PS4: because of the incentives, because of the community (audience-base) and because of current gaming trends.

In a perfect world everybody would have a ps4 and there would be nothing to worry about

I'm going with the bundle personally. Xbox one has nothing that tickles my dick. The exclusive don't excite me at all. But that's just me, if battlefront 3 becomes Xbox one exclusive then I'll buy an xbox one. Till then no point to buy it for me.

6 RespuestasI say go PS4 man if you already have a tv with a cable box why do you need an XO?. Sunset overdrive looks repetitive imo. And 343 has the Halo reigns so I wouldn't put too much faith into that anymore, and Gears? I was never that into it.

Here's an idea get both

7 RespuestasThink about it this way the Xbox One is very similar to the launch of the PS3. Alot of raw power that hasnt been realized I know the pressure to switch to the PS4 is everywhere since right now it is the better console but just wait and see. Xbox will always have better software and we get constant updates to make everything more seamless and fluid. But hardware wise the PS4 is better or so you think. The hardware inside the Xbox one is much better then the PS4 but its new technology and developers haven't been able to use it at its full potential. (There is a Youtube video that explains this much better then I ever could but i cant remember the name). But if that isn't enough simply the Xbox controller is much better then its PS counterpart and that is enough for me.

16 RespuestasXBOX. Ps4 is cool but it's not a gaming box. It's a spec box. Once they get rid of that suspect controller. Who plays shooters w both thumbs so close. L trigger to aim is right by my Left thumb on XB. XB has a better comm in the states that support each other. Ps is just fan boys who are happy they can finally talk about something. Whoa destiny. Great game but halo is great even CoD can be fun and we got EA access that's battlefield FIFA NHL madden all day long. Ps4 will bank on indie games and graphics w kids who are internationally based sitting playing one player missions while xb is for an American man who drinks beer, eats chicken and loves multiplayer. Xb is going to 22 others countries in the next week. Sony is only ahead because 1 it released ahead of time w the low price tag and 2 ppl outside of America 9/10 go w Sony.
