Oh yeah, because the campaign is the reason why people left the game right...

I'm talking about the campaign.

True, but you're talking about Bungie fanboys and their disposition on campaign. You'll find the majority reaction of the campaign to be either neutral or positive otherwise. The reason why we all hopped on the Halo 4 train and disembarked so quick was because of the multiplayer. My point: You're portraying fans of Bungie's Halo incorrectly.

I wouldn't bet on that... A lot of people on this site hate that living hell out of Halo 4's campaign

Editado por MeatShieldGriff: 8/11/2014 3:15:59 AMYeah, there's good reason for dissent. Overall I think the campaign was decent. Not the best; just decent. Want my feedback on the campaign? Let's go: Pros: 1) Uses existing lore in other media to better contextualize the story 2) A great reimagining of Forerunner design 3) Delving a little more into Chief's personality 4) Fun missions like the one in the Mammoth 5) Music: theme* Cons: 1) Under-delivered new enemy class 2) Total disservice to Cortana nostalgia 3) Game has little to no foreshadowing for next Halo game 4) Sarah Palmer 5) Hokey ending 6) Poorly designed for co-op on several levels. 7) Music: the Composer* *The music was well crafted and had it's own distinct and worthy flavor. Unfortunately, it does lack in original Halo motifs and cut scenes like the beginning of this feel more like Star Wars than Halo. That's just another turn off for many Halo fans. I wanted to make this pithy. I'll elaborate on any issue if you wish.
Unfortunately, it does lack in original Halo motifs and cut scenes like the beginning of this feel more like Star Wars than Halo.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought this. 343's campaign explored many more different angles of the Halo universe by diving into lore from the books, which is great. The presentation and explanation of some things could have been better, and some of the gameplay segments (like the ending) should have been changed. Bungie's storytelling perspective was very different, and the content in their campaigns kept its distance from the books. However, one thing I prefer about Bungie's campaigns was the atmosphere. The music fit in wonderfully, and the cutscenes were great to watch. I noticed the difference when playing Halo 4's campaign. 343's music and storytelling methods are different - not bad, just different. I'm enjoying the new Halo lore 343 is contributing to the series, though. Multiplayer could use a lot of work, but the campaign is doing fairly well.

No need to elaborate. Your opinion is a very liable one and I can respect it.

He's not talking about why people left the game. He's talking about the campaign.
