I tried going back and playing Halo 3 today. It just seemed like garbage. The resolution was grainy. The controls felt sluggish. The only thing it really does is act like a place holder for the story. I'll commit blasphemy right now and say, mechanically Halo 4 even feels better. It's like I can't even believe the last thing Bungie did before Destiny was Halo 3 ya know?
Oh yeah Halo Reach

Mechanically I felt Halo 3 was actually pretty lacking. However, the graphics engine was so good that it still holds up pretty well (even though its clear how few polygons they used relatively just by seeing the models), and the story was pretty good (though I felt other than the last few missions it was lacking, it picked up once you left Earth). Halo 3 has never been my favorite though. I think Reach was fundamentally the best. Had they just had sprint as the only ability, and tweaked a few things here or there it would've been the best hands down.

Well halo 3 resolution is at a sub HD quality. 1152×640. As for the gameplay it still is my favorite and must played multiplayer shooter ever. So yeah. Plus your saying a 2007 game is worse that a 2012 one. Of course it is. Things are improved upon in time. Plus it's a new dev doing and trying different things.

2 RespuestasThe last thing they did before Destiny was Halo Reach, FYI. And my friends and I have been playing Halo 3 Campaign for the past few days and loving it. The game is timeless.
