Bounties on Players
So we know their are different factions vying for control inside of The Tower. Why not make Free Roam mode have faction bounties. As an example you pick up a bounty from your respective faction vendor. The bounties are for New Monarchs. So when you enter into a free roam session all Monarch allied Guardians will be notified a bounty hunter has appeared. As for rewards? Why not a unique bounty hunter get up for each faction and class.

PvP mixed with exploring would suck I want to adventure not be killed while trying to enjoy the world just cause I like different colors then you. Maybe in PvP not in PvE.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm pretty excited for Destiny and Free Roam is my favorite thing to do at the moment. I dont want this to turn into GTAV. I just want more variety in free roam.

I like the idea but after playing gtav it just wouldn't fit with this game.

1 RespuestaA different idea then. So instead of bounties maybe have leader boards that show what faction is doing the best. The best faction determines the ending.

Becoming renegades, or more intensely dividing the factions to the point of wars/bounties would be awesome

I like the idea that players can turn hostile toward factions which flags bounties on their heads so guardians travel to you for reward and build bounty hunter reputation. It's like mini horde mode against real players and you only get one life and then you respawn at tower with bounty cleared. There's no way it would work in most areas, but maybe the "forbidden zone".

1 RespuestaIt's an ok idea. I wouldn't place hits on other players unless Destiny allowed a good and evil variant which doesn't look plausible. Still though, it would be fun to hunt an NPC who has done something which makes them questionable and make mercenary guilds out of it. I for one wouldn't mind being a hired gun to kill the suspicious speaker who sounds an awful lot like Viktor's VA from the Underworld series.

4 RespuestasI know the various factions don't see eye to eye, but I don't see how you can justify placing a hit on other guardians when they're all working to keep your ass and the city alive and well.
