Most badass melee?
Knife, Fist, Space magic.

I really love my hunter's throwing knife. It's so satisfying to land a perfect headshot from a distance. Makes all my real life failures seem unimportant.

Really? All the melee attacks are more or less on equal footing in terms of damage and abilities, the exceptions of course being the throwing knife and the Blade dancer's super. So since its mainly cosmetic I say warlocks energy drain all the way; it looks sweet and when you kill someone with it they float away and evaporate. (Also it seems to have a lot longer range than the other classes base melee abilities.)

Blink strike for blade dancer. You teleport to a far away enemy and stab them in the face. What is more badass then that

Seeing as a punch can deal so much damage I'm going with that.

That fist! They are all pretty cool but the sound you hear when you punch an enemy is so satisfying. "FALCON PUNCH!"
