Exploration has always been a part of gaming that has held a special place in my heart. I spent the majority of my time just walking around and riding through the ruins of Old Russia, seeing what I could find. I can't wait to just get on with some friend to search for secret bosses and hidden stashes in all the different worlds.
What do you think though? Is exploration important to you in a game? Or is there something else that has your attention for this game?
EDIT:
If you are down to Explore, my PSN is LunarSpy. See you at Day 1...hopefully.

Exploration is a must for me! It's what I spent the majority of my hours doing in the beta and will continue to be my focus come release day!
-
Its the strongest point of Destiny I think. Which is why people are concerned about how big the world is. Cause we're anticipating that we're so anxious to explore it that we'll unravel it all to soon. I've loved games like PSO, where you and 3 team mates can explore and play missions together and find loot, casltevania...where you can go further and further down into the abyss of hell Exploring the hellmouth reminded me of the fun times I had in those games with a big exception. It was in an fps setting. Its also an entirely different game. I need more friends to play this game though. I only got 2 friends to play with..which was a blast but those guys hardly played the beta. I'm busy too and all but an hour or 2 Here and there's not to much. I'm considering making a clan for people who played the PSO games.

Editado por KOCMOHABT123: 8/5/2014 5:20:03 AMI love exploring. But it seemed kind of small. I want MOAR...and also may be some spaceship dogfight and spaceship races. Otherwise whats a point of buying an exotic one for 9000+ glimmer? P.S. All join BEARTASTIC because of AWESOME

5 RespuestasEditado por Guardian: 8/5/2014 2:53:26 AMJust look at my profile! I spent almost all of my time in Explore! I did try out Crucible and found it enjoyable, but Explore will be my cup of tea in this epic game. Are you on PS3 or PS4?
-
1 RespuestaI am. Explore for hours and killing it in Crucible when I got all the armor and weapons to destroy all in the name of The Purple Ball.
-
I collected a lot of SpinMetal in the Beta and never used it. I have high hopes for Destiny that are more than expansion into more and more PvP maps. I am hoping to see story development and vast areas to explore.
-
1 RespuestaExploring will be a huge aspect for me in the game! Sure wish Titanfall had more depth to it than just awesome PvP, I would love to explore Titanfall's world :(
-
That is my main excitement for this game. Exploring the forgotten lands of old russia, raiding the corridors in hellmouth on the moon, slaughtering the cabal or vex in there own headquarters ill be there. I would nothing more than to go explore the shit out of destiny with you, my good sir

Completely agree. Also: for all of you people that are on xbox one instead, my GT is GrunT3O3 feel free to hit me up and we'll go find something to shoot that might kill us.

3 RespuestasI can't wait to just explore Uranus.........
-
Explore is what I'll be spending most of my time on.
-
i will spend all my time in venus.
-
Yup, I love just looking around and trying to find everything I can. I'll have fun with the SP first and work on the Strikes and Raids because I'm kinda tired of MP at the moment. However, I will play PvP for sure down the road. I'll just have to wait and see what I feel like when we can finally play it again!

6 RespuestasSo much so. That's why I get sad when people only talk about and focus on PvP. I played the alpha and explored for like 11 hours, then after it closed I was watching YouTube and still going "oh man I missed that public event, or, I didn't know you could go there!" The people at Bungie really put their hearts into making a vast and beautiful world. Its a shame to blow through it and go straight to pvp because all you care about is a high kd. I will spend probably 80% of my time in exploration. That's where I got all my best gear and coolest experiences!

Editado por Sci: 8/4/2014 7:12:02 PMExploring is a key part of the game i think. had more fun just checking around every nook and ledge.exploring lets you find out what kind of enemies are in a general area. I think exploring on this game is a under rated part of the game. PSN id = Sci add me if you are looking for a fellow explorer.

12 RespuestasEditado por XxSpeedNinjaxX: 8/3/2014 6:09:18 PMWell that is one of the main features of the game in the first place, however, there are plenty of objectives to accomplish while you're exploring. I do have one story I would like to tell, but first I will just cite that I played the beta on the Xbox One, so if your experience was different on the PS4, I am sorry. The first thing I would like to note was that I was playing and exploring on the one day Moon event if anyone knew what that was about. Basically though, I was on the only mission they gave us for the beta on the moon and I decided to explore the terrain a little bit more. I found a few loot crates and structures that I hadn't seen before, however, when I got to the large whole in the middle of the moon I Saw structures on the inside. I went to the entrance and was pleasantly surprised to see the area from the first Moon trailer. I went further in to the structure and found that it was almost a labyrinth of hallways and tons of Hive, however, that was not the only thing I found. Row after row of massive closed doors, sealed from play. I am under the impression that these doorways can open up when curtain missions are active. Again though, the labyrinth hadn't totally given up all of it's secrets. The maze opened up into a main area. Wizards and Knights were lurking around every corner. Now I may seem like I am exaggerating, but I am dead serious. This place was filled with Hive. It was a large main area which when explored, split into two pathways. Both of which led to dead ends, however, one actually led to a mini boss : The Ogre. It was huge, and as said conjured energy out of it's head and threw it at me, almost as if it was a constant stream of water. I was playing the mission on the normal difficulty before I started exploring, so the ogre wasn't that strong, but I assure you, if I was playing on the harder difficulty ( Level 9 ), I probably would have died multiple times. For now though, that is all I have to say concerning my story, however, If any of you have any questions, feel free to leave a reply or message me via bungie.net or Xbox live. ( Gamertag : XxSpeedNinjaxX ) Thanks :)

2 RespuestasI just want to get revenge on that laser bearing ogre who mauled my poor little hunter...
-
I'm not usually one who enjoys exploring in games but I did like it in this game because you can also do the beacon missions and the random events that pop up.
-
Heck yes!
