I disagree, if you played any large Mmo end game you will know that destiny fireteam suits the console world perfectly. Who wants to sit around for more then 5 minutes getting ready to shoot stuff? Not many people, most want to pick up and play a game. The raid for 6 people is a bit more heavy but not crazy enough to deter most. It will bring some casuals into the hardcore gaming world.

[/quote] This... Maybe they could have made an expert mode strike where 6 people could play co-op. But like you say the waiting and individuals leaving ext it would just be a massive headache.

Negative. Why hand people shit. This isn't -blam!-ing WoW. Work for your shit.

Do you have a job? Have a family? Responsibilities? Maybe a girlfriend?
-
So, what you're saying is you have time to spend 3+ hours in a raid, but that extra 5-15min it takes to get a group of 6 people organized is the deal breaker. For those of us with a job, family, girlfriend, we can find time in our day for those extra 15 min. I'm guessing it pushes past the game time allotment your mommy gives you, which is why it's such a deal breaker for you.

Can you say "Hey you guys open sometime, we should do a Raid. Oh I can't until like 6 that day. Oh, that works. We one guy short? Anyone have a guy to fill in that day? Ok, cool see you guys then." It's not hard to make plans.

Editado por Deloi: 8/3/2014 8:29:15 AMIf the raids are somewhat hard (I realy hope they are) then you need to be able to coordinate and have some good teamwork with your allies, you cannot achive this with randoms. If thats the case (theory time) then theres no point in adding matchmaking, it would just force them to nerf the raids later when the casuals start complaining since they cant finish said raid playing with random strangers.

Sure do and yet I STILL found time to raid in WoW. In fact, everybody who plays mmos does it. Stop your bitching

Destiny is NOT an MMO. How many times does Bungie have to say this. Stop treating Destiny as if it were an MMO.
-
It's riddled with mmo aspects. Stop denying it is more like it. And if you don't like how they have raids set up, then go someplace else. We don't want whiners here anyway. I'll work for my shit and be happy about it

Oh I forgot. This is the internet. People say things that mostly aren't true all the time. My bad.
