Why im sticking with my PS3
I am staying with my PS3 to play Destiny because its the only system you dont have to pay for network access.
PS4 - Playstation plus.... Xbox 360 and xbox one need xbox live. I dont like paying for the rite to use the internet I pay for already, through the console i've paid for, to play the game I've paid for.
So I'll stick with my PS3. Might even get a new one.

EDIT - When I wrote this a while ago it was simply a 3rd alternative to the constant bickering between PS & XB users. I may one day update to a PS4 but definitely not yet. For now I'm happy with my PS3 & happy with the fact that I don't HAVE TO repeat HAVE to pay a monthly fee. If I choose to I will but until then I am not forced to do so with a PS3.
I am amazed this thread is still going. I never intended to cause some kind of internal PS console civil war.

1 RespuestaI defiantly understand! But I like indies and PS store digital games and there are some awesome ones you get for free as long as you continue your subscription! Plus you get some other really nice perks! And there is plenty you can do without ps plus that you can't do as easily on ps3

1 RespuestaWell ps+ is the cheapest sub between the two. The ps4 is 10x more powerful than the 3, it may get to the point where last gen will not be supported for destiny. Frankly if this is a 10 year project I doubt it'll be supported, since some ps3 systems would be almost 20 years old by then. Talk about outdated. but luckily characters do transfer over if you do upgrade.

I just don't have the money to pay for a PS4 so for now I will play Destiny on my PS3. Then maybe someday when I have the money and the PS4 drops in price a little I will buy it.

The only reason i'm sticking with Destiny on my PS3 is because I have only had it for about a year and I feel I need to break my PS3 in. When the time is right I will move on to a PS4 though Infamous Second Son looks very interesting at the moment.

I'm sticking with PS3 also. I just bought it when GTAV came out. Don't get me wrong I will be getting a PS4 it just won't be anytime soon. As for ps+ and the games you get to download it doesn't interest me. I'm a collector and want a physical copy of games I purchase.

I still think ps+ is a great deal. But if you don't want to pay a ton of money for upgrading and then buying ps+ that def makes sense.

I can understand to a certian degree, you dont [b]need[/b] to upgrade until they stop putting games out for than generation. But youre abit of a moron thinking youre paying for acess to the internet, you would be paying towards using a companies servers that could cut the free connection because they have no real obligation to let you on them. The money you put in on a subscription goes towards maintaining servers, adding new ones along with improving them and plenty other things

Not trying to be rude but, did you mean your parents won't pay for it? Bc with xbox live & ps plus. They give you a shit ton of [b]FREE[/b] games. And since your CHEAP as hell, I recommend you to invest into it.

I stopped paying for xbox live after Halo 3 because i didn't see the point anymore, then when i got a vita and a ps3 ps+ felt too good not to have and now i don't mind paying for the service

Till it dies! My r/l best mate, his brother, his brothers colleague, my colleague have been gaming on ps3 together for years. For us this is what's important more than a 'new-gen' its 'our-gen' so we can game together. 4 of us are definitely on Destiny probably the 5 of us and maybe a couple of their friends too. Just hoping we can get 6 regular! Trying to tart with organised classes to help our overall game. Hopefully we get a few more in the group from England that can ensure everyone has a great time becoming Legend!

And for $50 a year you get a ton of free games. Free online will be missed, but had PS plus longer than the PS4.
