Job gets in the way of gaming.....
I was curious if anyone here has a job that has a tendency to get in the way of gaming. I am a Volunteer Firefighter in a small community with no full time members employed by the Department, so at any moment day or night if a page goes off I have to drop what I am doing to respond. This limits a lot of gaming..........PvP, strikes and Raids will be challenging for me.

Things need to get done that are more important than gaming. That's what happens when you are an adult:) I don't have kids but I am the master of two dogs. My dogs need attention, which takes precedence over gaming. Then I have to balance everything with my love interest along with the duties at the homestead. Gaming is entertainment that takes a back seat to life.

1 RespuestaSame here. Strikes are not so bad since there is matchmaking however raids will almost be impossible. they dont have mm and I dont have time to plan with a "clan"

Yep jobs do get in the way. I have an 8 to 5 job and sometimes I have to stay later.

I work 9 to 5 but with a long commute I get home around 6:30pm. After making dinner for the kids, putting them to bed and eating with the wife I'm usually gaming around 9pm. Problem is that I love gaming too damn much so I usually go to bed at 1 or 2 am and wake up at 7. It's a curse, but it's worth it. : )

My job doesn't get in the way, but I get in my own way when it comes to going to bed at a decent hour. Home by 9pm, kiss the gf, eat some dinner. We both jump on and play some games. Have to be up by 9:30am at the latest to be to work at 10:15am and my butt stays up til 2 -3am playing because I can't control my love for new games. lol

I feel your pain--between work and having a wife and three kids, I will be shuffling multiple schedules to squeeze in some game time. I probably won't be seeing any raids in the near future!
