I am conflicted on which version of the game to get. I have the Limited Edition for both XB1 and PS4 preordered but only want to play on one console. None of my friends are on next gen yet so friends don't matter. I will be looking to join a clan and make some new gaming friends as well. Is the exclusive content on PS4 worth it? I've always played Halo and my shooters on XB. Just looking for some guidance.
Thanks

1 RespuestaThis guy wants honest advice and all he's getting is a console war. Can we please grow up. The system you get is all about personal preference, asking the internet is not the right way to go.
-
i will said ps4 because i think we gone have dlc one month before xbox1 .Activison ;)
-
Make sure to sell what ever one yo don't use. You can sell your pre order on eBay. I would say pick the one that your friends will be going to.

2 RespuestasRealistically PS4 is the better platform for Destiny due to the larger player-base, exclusive content/earlier dlc access, plus the beta gave earlier access and was better graphically.
-
They haven't said how long of a wait for the DLC, I imagine it won't be too long. When I switchover I'm going to ps4, take from that what you will.
-
Oh no a console fight....
-
Have both, prefer the PS4.

I have a good rl friend who plays only xbox so gonna get it first on xbox and then montj later on playstation as i have my oher good rl friend ..and my playstation clan OAP's (( old age playstationers)) which i have no worries about catching up on levels and gear due to i grind like a kind in a sweet shop lol Its a game to play with friend . Playing solo is fun but not as much fun aa playing with mates .. Which ever console you have fellow friends who wanna play on buy it on that

1 RespuestaEditado por Kass: 8/3/2014 11:26:46 PMSince friends aren't an issue, I would say PS4. Exclusives alone are enough of a reason for me honestly, but you should consider the hardware as well, makes Destiny look amazing. Only problem I've run across on PS4 is the voice chat absolutely sucks. My friends and I have to use skype in order to communicate. I was considering making/joining a clan for this game as I did during the Halo days, but PS4 has so much more draw to it than Xbox does. If you're super concerned with the clan scene though, Xbox might be better.

I recommend going with PS4.

Editado por Legit Chronos: 8/3/2014 8:47:50 PMI have both XB1 and PS4 and I'm getting it on ps4. Getting Halo Master Chief on xb1. Got to keep both consoles happy.

6 RespuestasI'll be playing on ps4 because my friends are playing on ps4. If you have no friends on gen8 consoles, all you have to do is figure out which UI and controller you like and go with that. Don't listen to fanboys and just enjoy the game the way you want.

7 RespuestasIf you buy x box 1 we all benefit because the taxes on it go to our government whereas if you buy Sony you are giving money to the Japanese government... Something to think about
-
Go with whichever one you have more friends buying the game on. For Raids late game. Otherwise doesn't matter too much.

1 RespuestaMy advice? Get the console you think you will get more out of. If you feel the exclusive content, which only lasts til next year anyway, is important to you then go with that, if you can wait however, get the Xbox One. For one thing, I don't know if the PS4 does this, but the XBone has a really cool feature. If you don't remove the disc and switch off, when you switch back on there is zero loading time... I think that's pretty cool, no waiting!

Editado por I2obotDragon: 8/3/2014 5:50:37 AMWell if you want exclusive content, I would go with the PS4. However, I believe that the exclusive content is timed until Fall of 2015 which is a long time, but if you still want to play Halo and Destiny then the Xbox One is the obvious choice.

Really..., people are still making threads like this?

I have the XbOx 360 and will always say it was a better purchase than the PS3. This time around I am going with the PS4 as I personally think that it's a better purchase than the XbOx OnE. I think it has more potential and will also have better games on it this time around. I am a gamer, I go with the console that I think will be better for me, as a gamer, to play. The exclusives I wish to play etc. The Free to play games and also the Cross Platform gaming, PS4 to PC. I think the PS4 has more for the gamer than the XbOx OnE. If you consider the PS4 my PSN: Fireclown_Angel We have a small Clan on the Bungie site and we have our own forums too. Anyone is welcome to join either, the more the merrier. We have people paying the XbOx, PS and PC on our forums and talk about everything and anything. http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/118120 http://www.oasis-sector.enjin.com/

I would suggest PS4 because then you won't have that hassle from Xbox's Subscription fee. Plus, Sony's PS Plus is neat because you get two free games each month, doesn't sound like much but its also cheaper compared to Xbox's. Sure, some features won't be available but you'll be able to play Destiny still.
-
Look to the long term. Which next-gen console will your friends be getting if they do upgrade? We only get one strike, one pvp map and some other stuff in the exclusive content. It's nothing major.
-
If I could, I'd get both.... The black ps4 and the white ps4 ;)

8 RespuestasWell, to me the answer is simple: If you want to play fun games with friends, get an Xbox One. If you'd like to play games alone in your mothers basement with your only companion being the haunting memories of a wasted life, then go for the PS4. Either one though, I'm not biased.
