I can't speak for everyone but one location for each planet seems way to small! Ok i guess i need to add that by locations i meant north America, great Britain, Australia. ..etc. sorry for the confusion.

Cities, maybe evened subway systems, and landscapes like the Outback or the Sahara
-
Each location is the size of the entire game space of Halo Reach... Having said they we will likely get new locations in the Expansions plus Bungie has to some space for the later games
-
Mostly Earth. I want to see a city like new York or Boston.

1 RespuestaI would love more locations but honestly I'm fine with whatever they're going to release on 9/9 and think about it. Didn't bungie already say that they will be releasing a ton of dlc? If the locations or number of locations end up being too small they can always just add more, right?

4 RespuestasHaving spent a long time exploring Old Russia and about an hour-and-a-half exploring The Moon...I honestly don't know. I think I remember reading somewhere that The Moon is the smallest zone in Destiny, and I know that Old Russia is massive...especially when you consider that there is virtually half again as much BENEATH the zone for level 20+ because I came across a lot of places that delved down into the massive complexes underground and were filled with level 20 yellow mobs. Then you have to take into account exactly what zones are out there...Earth, Earth's Moon, Venus, Mars...they are confirmed, but it's called Earth's Moon, not THE moon...so do we assume we'll be going to the moons of Jupiter and Saturn? And has anyone else heard of Exodus Blue? It's the Playstation limited exclusivity Crucible map that sounds like it's set aboard a massive starship out there in space somewhere, and I'm sure I've seen a colossal starship in a trailer, and seeing as how they have only allowed Crucible maps of places that you can actually go into and quest and explore...do we assume that there could be a fully playable starship zone out there? So for now I'm actually going to say: Wait and see. Because we don't know how many zones there are and how big they will all be, and if we get everything in Destiny, what will there be left for Destiny 2 + 3 in the future?

It's Destiny. More is better. But yeah, if one location per planet is true, I think I'm going to be disappointed with the game size. It's not really a massive galaxy to explore if there are only a handful of locations. Eclecticism is as important as size when it comes to exploration.

Bungie has already addressed this and it is indeed disappointing. I have faith in Bungie but one location per plant seems pretty lacking. Even if they are large areas.

Editado por emc Brimstone: 7/30/2014 1:51:48 PMAnd connect them to each other like the Continents of World of Warcraft. They reached that in Old Russia, but they need to creat more of the change of environments and locations to be smooth when they add new locations. An example : in World of Warcraft, when I was Traveling through Azeroth I would be on my mount and go from the Barrens to the main Capital of Kalimdor, Durator, then road north to to Moonglade, the home of the Druids, and then set a flight path through Kalimdor to the south and flew to Silithus, where the sands of time were heavy and World Events occurred that will never happen again and there were warnings that only those who were strong enough could fight and now only tales can be remembered from that time... There was no load screen and it went from one location to the next by just traveling into the next zone. As I was flying down there, I saw my fellow Horde fighting against vicious enemies and wished I could help them sometimes as well. This is what would truly be a "WoW Killer" moment.

In the dlc's.

2 RespuestasAs far as I can tell the explore mission are rather large. I noticed some places I couldn't get to while exploring old Russia.(not the dark smokey hallways). But it would be a great idea for dlc's to add more of earth to explore like old Chicago or something. Just a thought

2 RespuestasYeah more locations would be cool, place us on the Great Wall of china with the hive charging at the side helms deep style lol. Definitely more locations is always better and allows the developers to make different earth locations (eg. Forests, waterfalls, sand dunes)
-
If you had a good explore you should have found higher level areas that you can't, or rather shouldn't be able to get into yet. While at level 8 it looked small it's likely there will be way more going on when you level up more. As proof I sight the whole bunker RAS stuff

2 RespuestasI'm not posting this because it's not obvious. I'm posting it because the only other posts I've seem on the subject have been rants. Companies and people take things more seriously when we talk like adults and not 4yr old cry babies. At least that's how i feel any way.

I don't think there's one player who wouldn't want that.
