At the end of the day it doesn't matter, Destiny will be cross console, meaning you can play with players from all gaming consoles. (Except PC)

Nope it's not cross platform that would never work

They've done it before, it does work. Destiny isn't cross platform (fire teams wouldn't work, stuff like that) but several console MMO's are cross platform.

I have BF4, COD Ghosts, Thief, TitanFall, Ryse: Son of Rome, Guacamelee STCE and 3 Arcade games I got for free (Halo Spartan Assault, Max: Curse of the Brotherhood and Guacamelee STCE) I've finished all the campaigns and there isn't much multiplayer, I play BF4 and TitanFall mostly, rarely ever touch COD Ghosts. The others don't have multiplayer.
