Should Destiny alter is PvP game play to fit certain specs?
The "successful formula" in the first choice by my gathering seems to be MLG type changes. I.E. Lots of CoD, Battlefield, and Halo similarities.
Small changes being maybe fix a gun and a ability or two. Mine being the Hand Cannon needs help. Was looking forward to it being cool.
Lots of debate, your thoughts?
Please keep them respectable.

17 RespuestasEditado por SunnyZaBunny: 7/30/2014 2:25:03 AMMy big critiques would be Cut down the AOE damage of the Warlock/Titan super in the crucible (or slow the timer on the hunter Golden gun and remove shot limitations Please either make the hand cannon secondary or make the sacrifice of reload speed and fire rate by upping the damage Maybe make supers a little less common? I faced a guy in the crucible who used it more than six times

6 RespuestasIMO before any balancing, the netcode needs to be fixed and optimized. There was significant and noticeable lag with hit registration, especially melee attacks. The PVP core is already solid. Just the fact that there are multiple threads demanding nerfs for all the classes and their supers show that there is at least basic balance. As for weapon balancing, there seems to be an overwhelming consensus that the AR is OP and the hand cannon is UP.

small changes are acceptable if not encouraged. The "formula" does not need to be changed, however, as I'd rather the game not turn into something generic.

5 RespuestasNo, I am tired of the games all playing the same. If you want to play COD-style, go play COD. It wont hurt people to learn a new skillset, it might actually give some new talent a chance to shine, while the dinosaurs are stuck trying to play their old game in a new environment.

Hate when people talk about pvp and you haven't even played it at max level yet stop trying to change what we don't even know lol. And most games even out at max lvl not at a low lvl like 8.. Can't say anything is balanced or not balanced till then. And as far as guns go I seen people wreck with all types of Guns for lvl 8 and yes they took awhile to get and an eye on the gunsmith if you didn't get lucky with engrams.

Yes there can be PvP arena style matches in story mode for "training" and showing off skills. However I feel it has no actual place in the wilds. Last thing I need is my story mode ruined because someone wants to camp out newbs cause he has no life...

1 RespuestaI don't think it could have anything to do with the fact the this game was made by the company that created Halo (Bungie) and is published by the company that created COD (Activision). No way would this game have ANY similarities of those two >.>

2 RespuestasThe PvP is fun and exciting. If it were more like halo it would not be. There may be changes needed in the future but until all abilities and equipment is being used I don't think we can know what needs changing yet.
-
I think the solution is to just make it so it takes more time to get the super. =)
-
My only change would be to be able to talk to everyone in the lobby and not have to party up otherwise good job with it.

I have noticed the multiple threads for every class being "nerfed" (usually by someone who mains a different class) so there really isn't any problem there. I had no problems with supers and have even been killed in mid load multiple times (warlock) so it's not impossible. The hand cannon though...I was really looking forward to that, what cooler then roaming the fields with a giant pistol blasting fallen away. It needs something to make it special.

16 RespuestasIMO it's mostly there. I think it's fantastic. But... -There needs to be something players can do to counter Supers. They're fun to use, they're not at all fun to be used upon (because there's nothing you can do...). -I'm not convinced it's balanced. Auto-rifles compared to hand cannons? Swarm grenades (too obvious to be a proximity mine, too weak to be a grenade) compared to vortex grenades (the ultimate death machine of doom)? Etc.
