Should the Tower be allowed to get invaded?
I think it would be cool if Hive tried to invade and everyone inside the tower gets there point of view changed to 1st Person and has too defend the tower. They can have this as a random event, would be fun to have at the tower. Bungie can even announce when it is going to happen, and that it is a one time event.

Perhaps you could fight your way through the city to a particular area or certain checkpoints and defend key areas of the city, the tower would have to remain a safe zone but I don't see why the outer limits can't be flooded by hive or fallen once or twice a year. Could become pretty intense seeing civilians running through the streets, chased down by thrall etc. I dunno just a thought

Barricade the door to Xur with the cryptarch's body and his whole shitty shack. We can hold Xur and Gunsmith behind barricades and use Dragon's Breath to set fire to half the tower.

Maybe multiple types of public events? Like one where you have to man the defense batteries on the tower. Either way this would make for interesting trips to the tower.

3 RespuestasNo but... Some one posted this awhile ago and I totally agree. Have a major event once or twice a year when the hive attack a weak point in the wall. A special scenario where we have advanced notice to prep for it and log in at a specific time. A defend the breach style event whilst someone repairs the wall or brings the defences back on line. Have an emblem for participating in the defence of the city.

YES! Hopefully the Gun smith would take a bullet to the head and we could replace him. Xur could also finally find a reason to use all those exotics we all know he's hoarding

Yeah that would be freakin awesome, but i agree, only with warning. i mean, it would suck to go in there with your saved up strange coins, and motes of light, get spawned in the tower, and boom, gunsmith is barricaded into his area, and the cryptarch is throwing crappy uncommon stuff (from legendary engrams) at the thrall, while the speaker is smacking some knights, and the vanguards are sitting there looking at maps and giving advice., and the xander-99, or whoever the bounty guys name is is yelling "ILL GIVE YOU 500 VANGUARD REP IF U KILL THESE GUYS CHASING ME!!!". Though none of this would happen, even if the tower could get attacked, that would be so funny to see.
