I know it was just the beta, and I'm hoping that this isn't true in the actual game. I found myself Disappointed in the fact that all classes have the exact same armor values per level. I don't get how a level eight Titan and a level eight hunter, have the same amount of armor. If this is addressed somewhere else I apologize, but I would like to touch on it if not.
Great beta experience all around though.

Well even though the bars show the same, the base is different, I noticed in two ways. First the armor parts you get out of dismantling, the titans actually, get armor plating, the warlock got like this resin or some type of chemical compound, and the hunter had like these like wires or something like that. I know this isn't enough to prove it, but this next part helps. Second, When I was doing the crucible with my hunter, I could notice the differences between all classes at full strength with the throwing blade. Hunters' health would drop to a quarter of health, the warlock's would drop to 1/3, and the Titan's would drop to 1/2. All the blades were to the chest.

I suspect it was done that way for the beta alone however I could see Bungie implementing the same armor values in the official release and then altering the values at level 20+ to fit the idea of different armor classes.
