I mean seriously, it's getting pretty old. Decrease the radius on the thing or something. At least with the Golden Gun you have to actually aim and can be killed before you even get a shot off. The Titan's slam is just a cheap way to avoid death that requires no skill to use.

1 RespuestaI have actually killed many Titans mid air. The newer players are funny when they get a super, because you can tell they are running at you solely to use their super, and don't even shoot at you. They just sprint forward trying to get close enough to do it, so by the time that happens they are mid jump when I kill them. I don't think anything is really OP, if I had to choose one I would say the golden gun, that pistol has some crazy accuracy, but I can't complain too much since I am a fellow Hunter haha

Don't clump together, and if a dude is sprinting at you nonstop, try to run away. You might not live but if you split off from the pack, others might. All the supers are pretty strong. At range, the titan super is weak. We just didn't have any very open maps yet.

So let me get this straight...from time to time, a Titan gets his super and costs you a death, one which you can get your own super to avenge, and you claim lack of skill? To quote the old EA sports dude..."It's in the game." Dying is built in. None of the supers take much skill to use. Therein lies the awesomeness. It's FUN. Dying to one sucks but the balance lies in the ability to kill with one. Kids these days. And on the off chance you're an adult...adults these days :p

I played primarily as the titan, but found the FoH to be a little under powered when compared to the other 2 classes when I played as them. Frequently I would get killed mid FoH use and not get anything. Hell I have to count on at least 2 hands to tell you how many times the GG one shot killed me half way through FoH. Even when I did get the kill it was usually only one person, and most others got out of the way it time with their special jump. I mean, its kinda hard to miss a titan rampaging right at you. Not to say your concerns aren't valid. I played mostly as the titan because it fit my play style the best I did very well in the crucible. However in a super ability duel the titan will lose most fights, because both the warlock and the hunter have range on their abilities. With the titan you need to be with a couple of feet or you wont get jack. Trust me, I had a guy step to the left, dodge my FoH and then punch me in the face for the kill. Its a good CQC reactionary ability, but it is not all powerful.

3 RespuestasI don't get slammed by titans Because I take them out from a distance; letting enemies get close to you is stupid, in any situation, and can be avoided by using your tracker to plan appropriately for people that may be hiding in buildings It's also a hell of a lot easier to avoid than nova bomb

Each class has a small animation between the activation of its Super and the attack being released, right ?! So they could just increase the animation duration by up to a second on the Titan. Or adjust each class as necessary. Eg. The animation on the Titan could be a quick, squatted power-up. (Like the Super Saiyans in the Dragonball TV series). It could be a higher leap in the air. It could be a suspended pause in mid-air, with a blue hued nova. A threatening 'fist beats palm's gesture, followed by the current animation. There are lots of possibilities. And if it just can't be balanced right with an increase to the animation, then bump the time up so it's unfair to the Titan but give them the ability to change the direction of the attack, so that they might have a chance of leaping to cover or to a particular enemy that is moving from within range. Would that not work?

What bothers me is the Titans Super can go through walls and the impact can reach up to 20 feet. There is no way to dodge that thing! Area of effect is too large! It would be nice if they had a 2 to 3 second delay before slamming the ground. That way, it will encourage players to activate their super strategically. But that is just me.

5 RespuestasHonestly, hunters are more dangerous in PvP. I've shut down a few titans trying to pull off a havoc with a few shots and a knife throw. There's almost a tell when a Titan's coming at you such as when they're just bum rushing a control node or when they jump super high. I personally like Havok the way it is. If you're holding hands with your team mates and you get hulk smashed, you deserve it. We're guardians, not children. :p

Editado por Archangel: 7/28/2014 3:10:16 PMYou do realize that the Titan's Fists of Havoc can be interrupted with a well timed shot to the forehead...believe me I ran with a Titan build through the entire Alpha and most of the Beta and was killed during the initial animation sequence of the special many, many times...in addition the special is very sensative to distance from your opponenents, if you are not close enough to the enemy, it will not work - lol
