6 RespuestasHow many other ways are there to get Exotics besides raids and the cryptarch? If people don't have the time to complete raids in an attempt to get exotics, then the cryptarch might be the only chance for other people to get that gear.

Bungie made a big deal about exotic gear and how players would know you had to overcome a difficult challenge to acquire it. In my opinion, exotic gear should be exlusively the domain of raids, high level strikes, occasional pvp tournaments etc You shouldn't be able to just randomly get one. Just defeats the purpose.

Maybe the solution for bungie here is 1. My god bungie. ONLY get items from engrams FOR THE CLASS doing the decrypting. Seeing the engrams can be shared across classes there is no reason i should be using a warlock and get [url=http://desimg.zamimg.com/static/upload/screenshot/resized/59.jpg?1407269633]no backup plans[/url]... i'd be smashing my real fist against a real wall in real frustration. 2. Regular engrams (even the decoherent and higher you get for cryptarch lvl rewards) can only decrypt and get up to Legendary gear. These are still epic in power and will still feel like a great reward without being too location or lore specific. 3. If you feel like you MUST give a chance to decrypt for exotics because, i dunno there aren't enough in circulation (the fact that they can be BOUGHT means that is highly unlikely). Let them only be decryptable from a very specific engram (maybe a gold one?) that only has a low chance to drop from a suitably difficult location like maybe a nightfall strike boss or high level public event or something. This should allow for a sense of earning while maintaining an "illusion" of chance randomness.

It fires bullets like a laser beam LOVE IT. Also to all the complainers about the cryptarch, I disagree. They still have to play the game to get the weapons, it's not like they're paying to win- also there's no GUARANTEE that they'll get weapons, they might get materials or other such things. So I think it's fair that they can TRY and get the exotics with no guarantee by grinding it out to play a game of chance that may reward them with a huge payout but might just as well if not more likely just give them something rare at best.
