I'm embarrassed to be a part of this
I'm beginning to feel embarrassed to be a part of this community. I know there are A LOT of great people here, but the collection of entitled, complaining, ignorant brats is growing by the hour.
First of all, your complaints are invalid. Almost no matter what they are, they're invalid. Bungie giving us not one but TWO sneak peeks at their game for free should be viewed as nothing but awesome. The growing sound of moaning and groaning about specifics in the game, Bungie's selection of content for the beta, whether or not our items will carry over, etc. is just absurd. Does it really matter if our content will carry over? We've played for less than two weeks and we're already so in love with our loot that we can't imagine replacing it in the MONTHS and YEARS we'll be playing Destiny when it launches? Give me a break.
To come to the forums and intelligently discuss your thoughts for game balance is one thing. To come to the forums and demand that things be nerfed, gripe about the balance, complain about which classes are unstoppable, etc. is, again, absurd. We are not game designers. Your actual opinion on these topics is near invalid. The data that Bungie collects from our playtime will speak to the balance of the game - not the countless posts of people still feeling sore from their latest encounter with (ENTER class/vehicle/weapon/super HERE).
And stop fighting over which console is better. I've never understood the deep attachment. You may have picked one console over the other, but guess what - both consoles are good. Both can play Destiny. Both have very talented people behind them. The media and market experts LOVE that we feel so devoted to their products because it means we will make purchases for no other reason than our association with their brand. Unless you've worked for either of these brands, you have no reason to be as invested as you've become; to start fights with strangers, to stubbornly defend in the face of logic…really?
Have some class. That is all.

1 RespuestaDon't worry, they all leave when the next CoD is released (just like they did for every single halo). So They will only be playing the full version of Destiny for less than a month. Then the mature community stays plays and has fun.

same thing happened is defiance ,lots of please nerf this gun and its not fair that i cant 1 shot players,defiance screwed themselves though with poor dlc and repetative play.destiny is a similar game but thats where it ends.im noy a huge fan of pvp due to me being crap at it,but pve is great.players will moan and whine about the game but still play it ??? if ya dont like it dont play

1 RespuestaI expected the Beta to be pretty much like the Alpha and I generally like how the game is looking. I'm a lore nut myself so a bigger peak at the grimoire cards is my only complaint but, in all honesty anyone who expected a full beef game inside the beta is not someone who understands the purpose of betas in the first place. As for class balancing complaining is one thing but, if you really want to Bungie to change try to leave feedback that isn't non-constructive( i.e "Make titans less overpowered Bungie suxxxx"). But hey that's just me stay safe space cowboys/cowgirls

7 RespuestasI honestly have lots of complaints which im not going to digress over a forum it will be sent to bungie it self. i just felt the need to say something after seeing the comments on here I was expecting to see a lot of complaints on here but to my surprise no. it seems the fps 101 is still mesmerizing the people of today. I on the other and am the most dissapointed about a video game in my life. this whole game new experience, "unlike nothing you have played before" all the hype was just hype for stuff I have experienced before. even though its the beta first impressions do matter the glitches and the latency are not the problem its the actual game it makes me so mad in fact I will probably be putting together a boycott. seriously bungie bring something new to the table been gone this long and u still cant plant new trees your just cross breeding ones that have existed. this game is borderlands, halo, COD, and mass effects. I have experienced everything this game has brought to the table.

People bring up the constitution about this little article. but is it not unconstitutional to get mad at him for his opinion and telling him to shut up.... they want feedback as such as the error centipede, what glitches we found, any problems. why can't we do that? The only problem i had with the game was the error centipede other then that i can't wait for the full game and will gladly support bungie for this game. Good work bungie!

I agree with everything that you said here. To be honest, I was shocked to find a reasonable, coherent forum thread. So, kudos for that. Moral of the story: People are nuts, and everyone thinks they should be in charge of making everything. Nice to know I'm not the only one out there who can just enjoy the Beta and get psyched for the actual release. High five.
