It takes so long to charge. If you're killed with a fusion rifle you deserve it. It's no different than a shotgun. Damage drops off at distance and is completely useless long range. It's only good for a cqc map and only as a secondary (like it is).
I can speak from experience that every one shot fusion rifle kill that I get feels like I got lucky that the person was too slow to notice me. And I just use it in close quarters cause i don't have a shotgun that powerful. But some people do and I think they're more f-ed up than fusion rifles since they fire so much quicker.

I love my fusion rifle, don't change it at all! Plus, Iv'e never have gotten a one shot kill with it... What is this one shot kill you speak of?

Well ppl charge it and as soon as I'm around a corner the 3 burst it fires insta kills me

I'm going to have to retract my previous statement. I'm not sure if it's lag, but my fusion rifle can't one shot kill worth a ____, yet every time I encounter someone, blam, one shot kill. I'm starting to look at them like I look at shot guns.

For me the guy pre charges the thing walks around the corner and as soon as I see him I'm dead, had this happen on to many occasions. It does take a while to charge which does make it balanced but when I start shooting first and almost kill him then I die from him and a damn fusion rifle and next thing I know is their hole team is using those it gets annoying fast than I use mine and try pre charging it and they always end up killing me with what ever gun they have.

Yeah well it's not as annoying as knowing someone is around the corner and when you turn to engage them knowing you have the advantage and they turn an pop you with a shotgun for a one shot kill and I'm not even sure what happened till i read the kill log in the corner. But if you're having trouble with people using fusion rifles skillfully and you can't manage it, you should change your tactics. I've played plenty of crucible now and I find it challenging to be sure but it's pretty well balanced honestly. And I have zero sympathy for people who complain about imbalance in skilled based multiplayer. I overcame it, others have, so can you.

There's times when its honestly fine the way it is but when majority of the other team is using the same weapon it gets annoying and yea I find the camping around a corner 1 shot shotguns get annoying to but I usually counter it by pulling out my shotgun

Believe me I've got the best one I can and im better off without it. I see what you're saying though. I just had a match recently where everyone was using snipers. It gets old fast but that's part of the game. Happens in every competitive online FPS. Not much you can do about it but change your tactics.

Too true i do try to change my tactics but I don't wanna join a game where everyone uses one weapon makes it boring its fun when everyone has something different adds variety

Well I can't think of a way to prevent people from all using the same weapon. And if you notice it doesn't always start that way. Sometimes as the match progresses all the people on a team individually notice a way to exploit the other teams tactics and seemly use the same weapon by coincidence. If you figure out a way to stop it, you let me know, k?

people flock to whats op, the fusion rifle makes MOST primarys worthless. Shotguns and Snipers work as special weapons as in weapons for special occasions, as in cqc or far away as for a guy around the corner most melee powers are insta kill, along with backing up to makes distance, against fusion rifle you f**ked no matter what you do unles you use special. Ps, its not hard to find good gear for pvp at all, you just have to know what stats to look at.
