PSA: We are currently working on a fix for the Centipede issue
A number of users have been experiencing repeated 'Centipede' errors and are unable to log in. We are working hard on a resolution to this issue, and hope to get it fixed soon. Thank you for all our patience, and [i]All Hail the Sacred Centipede[/i], he requires many sacrifices upon the alter of networking to sate his hunger.

Well haven't been able to log into the game at all been hours I guess bungir u knew about this error a year ago why isn't it fixed I can't access the game at all

2 RespuestasSo what about missing items? I got thorn earlier yesterday, and while in a raid I got disconnected with the centipede error. When I logged back in Thorn was gone and the bounty to kill him was back and I lost the upgrades on my gauntlets.

1 RespuestaI've gotten centipede a few times, and, yes, it is a problem. But a large concern of mine is that the other animals of the error kingdom are going to take even longer to fix with the lack of attention to them as well. I for one have completed my Error PokeDex and would like to exchange it to Prof. Bungie for a fixed game.

6 RespuestasSeems like all the errors are local network related (speed, type of connection, modem settings quality and age, as well as router quality and age, not to mention a number of other factors). Been going to friends houses and got the Noah's ark of errors but after i configured their routers and modems i got rid of the errors entirely. Additionally at my home network with all my stuff configured for gaming i havent gotten one error or disconnect since the beta. So to an extent the errors are telling you about your network in some way.

What about the other errors? Baboon bee elk etc? The ones clearly caused by you having a zero tolerance for packet loss..

I swear to god bungie if this centipede issue isnt f****** fixed by the time the Vault of Glass comes out i wont be buying a f****** thing you make and publish again. Stop trying to blame our network when its clearly on your side. Fix this problem now for EVERYBODY! Not just university and campus users.

1 RespuestaDuring the beta I had no problem playing Crucible or story with a friend, but now I'm constantly getting disconnected. What changed between now and then because my internet still functions normally for everything else.

C'mon Bungie you're better than this! For anyone telling people to be patient with a fix this thread shows Bungie has known about this issue for awhile. I'm very disappointed.

In their defense, problems in their code often take 3+ months to fix. With any luck, we should be able to play by Christmas!

Just FYI, this particular original post is from JULY.....so apparently they never quite got it fixed, huh? Should have kept "working hard on a resolution." Two months later and still problems doesn't sound like "fixed soon"... Ironically I had no problems back at the beta, but I do now...
