Adding in a feature like split screen would require massive rework to the entire game engine to make work properly. And even then, there are many who would indeed complain about the graphics, as we still see the console wars being raged on about that very topic. Bungie has been in business for over 20 years, and they know what their strong points are. If they're leaving out something they've previously done exceptionally well, there's most definitely a valid reason behind it. I've been a Bungie fan since Marathon, just over 21 years. I've learned to trust them when they say the game will be best played the way it was originally designed to. While I would have enjoyed splitscreen, my trust in Bungie's vision for the game is more than enough for me to accept and agree with the lack of it. TL; DR Bungie designed Destiny this way for a reason, which they've shared with us. More than enough reason for me to trust in that and want the game to be played the way it should be played to get the best possible experience.

I say give [i]Destiny[/i] a chance. In johnny's thread, several people voted yes at first, played the alpha, and then switched their vote to no, simply for what they feel the game would lose from splitscreen. It is very hard to say the game will be better with a feature without actually having played the final version, afterall. So that would be my recommendation for you. Play the beta, play the full game. If you still feel as strongly about splitscreen after that, carry on. Then you'll at least have an idea of what's going on and what you're really asking for.

Yea thats why I want to at least get it after launch so a lot of people can play it and decide too. And in Johnny's thread there are still more yes than no. Thx for your feedback though!

There are still many more yes votes than no, but it's losing a lot of ground. Almost 20% down since the alpha. That's pretty substantial. And no worries. I enjoy a good discussion and like to keep things civil.
