... Maybe not skill but still even playing field, everyone has the same chance, theoretically if you do that 100 times you will both win an equal amount (not much skill in standing there punching each other in the face either way) the true skill in melee is when you string it with other attacks, slides and jumps.
I could maybe see disabling the skill for PvP but I don't see its necessary or game breaking in any fashion.

Oh definitely not game breaking. I agree with you on that. Yet please imagine, you and me duel, you are a better player, and i will best you because %/dice roll, and got double damage randomly and you died instead of me. Will you say that was fair ? Did I win because of my skill?

I would be pissed lol BUT that being said I would also understand the game mechanic that was in place and know that if we fought again chances are I win... Its a tough call but I think in the end... after playing alpha and seeing the pace and the encounters... I find it very unlikely that this situation will arise, and if your a skilled player against a less skilled player I think the likelihood that you make them miss their second power punch is very high.

Editado por Andus Blood: 6/27/2014 10:21:43 PMWell my gripe is not with power punch its with " a chance to". But yea I would be pissed as well :) that's why I want your bonus abilities to be based on skill not chance. So I can say I lost because he was better, not just lucky ;)

I feel you, a familiar phrase comes to mind lol 'I would rather be lucky than good'

Another one comes to mind : " you cannot plan for luck" :)
