Question,
Why do people become so loyal to these giant corporations? I started with an NES, Sega Genesis (and CD), Super Nintendo, Playstation, N64, Playstation 2, then Xbox and Xbox 360, and now I'm back on Playstation 4. I have no blind loyalty to Microsoft or Sony or even Nintendo. I thought the PS3 sucked compared to Xbox 360, so I bought an Xbox 360. This generation, I believe, the Playstation 4 to be the better system. Not because I love Sony but because I view each console purchase as objectively as I possibly can. I buy the system based upon the merits; not because last gen I had a specific system.
Any thoughts or people that are like me?

Look at sports, people do the same thing but we call it being a fan. I'm a diehard 49ers fan, since I was 6, that makes me a fan. But when people pick a console we call it fanboy. I don't know either. I have both next gen consoles and both last gen. I jump in on the fanboy fights for fun and pick a side just to feed the flames, but the truth is both sides have pros/cons. Just remember, console wars are good for prices and fanboys feed the flames of war.
