Xbox gets cod Cod content early by a month. A MONTH. A lot of people are mentioning xbox will get the ps content in fall of 2015. That's a year. I mean, I know the game is supposed to last a decade, but a year to wait for the dlc? That's ridiculous. I know, its better than completely exclusive content, but still ridiculous. Thoughts?

1 RespuestaLet's only overreact when bungie confirms things. I think the summer 2015 date for the exclusive content came from Amazon. Now I may miss a thing here and there but I'm pretty sure that Amazon isn't involved with the development of Destiny in any way. In other words wait for bungie to say something.
-
Dude theyve barely even mentioned anything about dlc so just chill out, itll prbly only be a month

For the past 9 years, Bungie has brought Halo to the xbox, a franchise which is pretty much what revolutionized Xbox live and I'm pretty sure most gaming networks. Do you really think it's that ridiculous that we Xbox gamers have to wait just 1 year for something playstation gets first, when playstation will never get halo? Doesn't sound ridiculous when you ask me.

Let's think about this relevantly. People all around the world are starving, dying, and suffering. And YOU, are worrying about exclusive content for a game that half the world can't buy! Let me ask you something: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!!! IT DOESN'T MATTER, IT'S CALLED BUSINESS!!!!
-
We'll never get Halo
-
Thoughts are, who cares? It still will be available to you after a year, if that is even correct.
-
It's not like the exclusive content is particularly exciting. None of the ps exclusive junk is a big deal. The early access beta is only four days early. Whoopity. People raging are just diehard nerds.
-
The only real content is the strike, plus no one at Bungie has confirmed this story.

PS amazon removed the information that all this speculation is based off of. This shite show is literally all from a screen cap of a placeholder date on amazon.

You do realize that the date isn't confirmed right? It's just Sony and Amazon flapping their mouths trying to get more money. In the end, Bungie ends up being the puppet..... and Activision the puppet master.

Stop with these threads, its just some garbage DLC..... Play the game and enjoy it. If it bothers that much buy a PS4 and their wont be a problem. DLC is over priced POS added so that you'll play the game again. There was a time when you got more for the money with it too. Most of my friends and I have already stopped purchasing DLC. None of us are mad about this and I am one of the only one with both consoles.

Playstation 4 = Destiny timed exclusive content. Xbox One = Call of Duty timed exclusive content. Choose one.
-
The only thing worth getting would be the strike mission, if anything. Everything else would be pointless since, in a year's time, we all SHOULD have some badass armor that shits on that dlc armor

Playstation owners had to wait almost a year to even get the first DLC for Skyrim. And we were still left with a nearly unplayable mess because they refused to even attempt to fix the problems 4j told them they needed to fix (the guys who ported Oblivion to PS3). As long as Destiny is playable on all systems, who cares about the wait?
-
1 RespuestaIt's one of the perks of being a PS4 owner. If you want exclusive Destiny content you buy a PS4. If you care more about COD DLC buy a Xbox One.
-
I do recall a huge Destiny expansion DLC being released in Fall of 2015. Stated in the legal documents leaked a few yeas back, but I highly doubt they will make us wait a year for times exclusive. Seems a bit much. I'll enjoy it either way though. Sounds like Amazon took that original statement down too.

7 Respuestas
I mean, I know the game is supposed to last a decade
The contract with Activision lasts 10 years. Each game lasts 2 years before the next one comes out.
but a year to wait for the dlc?
Just the exclusive content. If the leaked contracts are any indication, all the DLC comes a year after the game anyway.

The PlayStation "exclusives" will be exclusive until the GOTY edition comes out with"everything" for both systems. The true dlc (new locations, pvp maps, etc) will come in between the main game launches for both. (Comets, I believe they are called) Regardless I think there will be plenty of things to do to kill time between releases.

There's many arguments against why the exclusive content won't matter. Unless this one strike and multiplayer map turns out to be epic, then there really is no reason to worry :)

Please Read: this info isn't confirmed at all and this guy probably knows and is trolling.
