Best open world game of all time?
Decide,tried to include some general franchises along with some non general. If the answer isn't on here,which game is your favorite.

The whole series is great, and there have been other game series that have challenged TES's supremacy... but the wealth of things to do in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim (I only mention these three because most people haven't even [i]heard[/i] of Daggerfall or Arena much less [i]play[/i] either of those...) keep The Elder Scrolls at the top of the mountain. While Fallout may come close (another Bethesda game, though Fallout didn't originate with Bethesda), it still cannot challenge the history of The Elder Scrolls. Easily The Elder Scrolls is my favorite Open-World game series, and my favorite series of all time (as RPG's are my favorite genre of game).
