>implying the lightbar/touchpad will be anything more than gimmicky
They're stupid additions to the controller. Touchpad gets way too greasy, lightbar needs to be covered/wastes too much of the battery.

You can dim the light bar now
-
It still wastes too much battery power.

Editado por MandalorianDom: 6/7/2014 10:32:54 AMFun fact -The touch pad adds 5 buttons to the PS4.That's pretty useful

Say it how it is, beautiful. With you a 100%.

Actually, I don't find either one to be gimmicky. Your 'problems' are laughable at best. My touchpad works great and is as clean as the day it came out of the package. Maybe the real problem here is your hygiene. As for the light bar, it hardly drains the battery as much as you think it does. It is a nice touch in games that utilize it well. These little controller additions are a step in the right direction, one might even say they are next gen. And as I know you rarely use logic in your 'disagreements', I will not bother replying to you after this. But seriously, take more than one shower a week and you won't be so greasy.
>implying the lightbar/touchpad will be anything more than gimmicky
Agreed
They're stupid additions to the controller
This can be debated, though I think I understand where you're coming from, seeing how they are just a gimmick. I actually thought it was kind of a neat touch visually, and it changes the gameplay (depending on the game) a bit with the touchpad. Necessary? Absolutely not. But kinda fun, makes typing easier for sure.
Touchpad gets way too greasy
Wash your hands if your hands are naturally greasy, otherwise stop eating while you play.
lightbar needs to be covered/wastes too much of the battery.
Turn it down

Maybe wash ur hands if it get greasy lol and u can dim the light bar to low u cant turn it off because u will turn off motion control and how it connects. The lightbar actully is a big improvement it just no one cares to look it up how. It helps with tracking, motion control, playerbase, more ranged movement etc.
-
I do wash my hands. It still gets greasy when I use it, and it's super gimmicky. Regardless of your opinions, the lightbar does drain the battery. The PS3 better lasts twice as long. There are more drawbacks to it than bonuses. Protip: don't type like an idiot. Use punctuation so that people can understand what you're saying.
-
Then wash your hair you greaser! And try charging your controller at least once a year...;)
-
What are you? A soch?

Outsider logic

Dont have to be rude sorry if u got mad lol but thx for pointing that out next time i will re-read my comments. Opinions are opinions everyone is different but the same. The lightbar yes has battery problems but you can dim it to low and lasts twice as long. Some love it, some thinks its a gimmick. Everyone is right in there own way :-)
-
It's proven that the dimming of the lightbar barely affects battery life.
-
Oh wow thats crazy lol i know some people who have it and say dimming actully helps but i guess some people its a different story. In my opinion as long as it last at least 6-8hrs thats great. What about you?
-
8 hours is the max. PS3's is 12-16
-
Because you really need those 12-16 hours? Let us be honest here, 6 hours is probably the most one will sit through one sitting. Unless they got nothing to do that day.
-
Yeah, in one play through. I'm not talking about one play through.
-
8 is still a great number i can understand it will get annoying but for some its a good amount. Hell for some 4hrs is good because most people work or school.
-
They should fix the lighbar thing but the touchpad I think is a good addition.
-
I don't care.
-
I hope you die in a plane crash, then get eaten by wolves!
-
They slightly fixed the light bar power drain problem with the dimming thing and the touch pad try washing your hands.
