“A gun is an offensive weapon used to intimidate and show power,” he asserted, explaining to the audience that police officers don’t carry weapons to defend themselves, but to do their job in a “safe and effective manner.”
What do you think of this? Obviously the comments are a shitstorm, with people assuming he means cops try to scare people. IMO, he's just saying it's meant to intimidate criminals to prevent situations from escalating. I'd be a lot less likely to attack someone that I knew carried a gun and was trained to use it.

15 RespuestasPIG COPS TRYING TO FORCE BOTCHED LOBOTOMIES ON HALO WARS MIRROS INCOHERENT BOOTY. ... I would say a defensive weapon is a non-lethal one, like a truncheon/nightstick or a tazer. An offensive weapon can be used in a defensive manner but it's still used to kill/maim rather than just incapacitate. *this doesn't make guns bad* *this is just my own view* *feel free to sic me anyway ._.*
