There has been a disturbing trend in gaming: ridiculously small text. Games such as mass effect 2, dishonored, final fantasy 13, dead space, and skyrim are huge offenders. There is no reason to have such small text. I hate getting a new game only to launch it and find that I am unable to read anything without getting up and holding my face a foot away from the tv.
I hope this problem does not appear in Destiny. I want text to be clearly legible and to stand out. Not overtaking or distracting from the game mind you, but big enough so that I can comfortably read it from a reasonable distance. Either that or add an option to change text size. Perhaps make it available as paid DLC.

I know exactly what you mean. I have 20/20 vision with my aryan child eyes and I still always have to sit two feet from the screen to see what the characters are saying. Text should be adjustable.

A reasonable post!

Totally 100% agree. Also the ability to switch on sub-titles. There is nothing worse than missing story information because of background noise.

I game on a monitor, so I don't care.

I never noticed, and my tv isn't that big. My brother on the other hand is always having trouble reading when it comes to video games. Maybe he needs new glasses o.O

I have this problem all the time. An option to zoom in or make it bigger would be great, but bigger text DLC? Why would I pay for bigger letters? That has to be one of the stupidest ideas ever.

Mass Effect 2 and Skyrim had small text? I never noticed.

2 RespuestasI think the text should be large, but in Russian. It'll be good to learn a second language!

8 RespuestasNow this is a decent post buddy. And i do think a text or hud size option would be good for those who have trouble reading ammo count and such.
