Are you saying that having a less powerful console for more money is aiming for a more general public? There's really nothing "different" and good about that; it's just less value for more money.

You are correct from a gamer's perspective but from a normal every day filthy casual that wants to play a game for 30 minutes to an hour and then watch TV and browse YouTube on the commercials and surf the internet from their couch and be called a gamer it is perfect and efficient.

That's true. The Xbox One is a different concept, with more focus on other types of entertainment than video games. But it's still more expensive despite being weaker, and if it doesn't offer what gamers want, they have the right to complain about that. Xbox started out as a gaming branch, after all.

It is sad that they have sacrificed the gaming aspect a little bit and I hope that cloud computing and DirectX 12 take off soon to helps close the gap.

Don't believe what Microsoft tells you; software is limited by its hardware, so it would be impossible for them to do improve graphics, FPS, etc. especially considering you would need a [u]constant[/u], high-end internet connection [u]at all times [/u]to do this.
