Sorry Bungie, but you still fail to convince me that your game is anything but Borderlands in space.
Stuck in a small room while defending a terminal being hacked? So amazing...
Leveled enemies that poorly communicate damage states and just look to be bullet sponges due to them having health bars? Where have I seen that before...?
RPG elements in which the players spend their times leveling up guns and hoarding loot in an open world environment? Hmm...
A game that looks to revolve around the "Play with your friends!" mantra to cover up shallow content and poor design? Never seen it.
Poor UI design? Huh?
I WONDER WHERE I'VE SEEN THIS ALL BEFORE
I find it hard to believe that it's been over a year since the game was first revealed, and that we still so little information about it. The game is almost four months from release. I've never seen a game of this high a profile having so little information on it this close to release (especially considering when it was revealed). And yet people are actually defending it. Such a thing I will never understand.
It's one thing to play your cards close to the chest, it's another to just refuse to play them.
EDIT: Jesus people, calm down. I'll admit that the way I worded my post was kind of immature and brash, but understand that I only judge what I see, and I've seen this far is two videos, in the same locations, running through narrow corridors killing things.

Editado por xSlade1x: 4/29/2014 1:45:45 PMNo offense but how varied is your game library. Don't get me wrong I totally understand where your coming from but that husk seems to be a little narrow in scope. You might need a wide lense. I played games from shooters like halo and cod to action rpgs like borderlands and mass effect. Action adventure games like tombraider and darksiders 1 & 2. True rpgs like final fantasy 7-12 and lost odossey. And various other games like saints row 1-4. I've been there and done it. And from what little I've watched and from what I've heard. Destiny is far more than just halo and borderlands. Oh and between hide o kojima is another one who likes to make games in secret more so then bungie. Another thing bung ie insists that you can lonewolf destiny if you so choose to.

They tease for sale people they showed a good amount and it's definitly not like borderlands at all maybe some things are similar yea i do want to see more like the division who doesn't want to see more just sit back relax follow up on bungie sooner or later it will be 4 months and BOOOM!!!! Destiny will be here. So lets not blow each others head off save it for the game
TEEHEE
Editado por Jack Hoops: 4/29/2014 6:16:06 AMOh, and in regards to calling Destiny a Borderlands rip-off, just because two games have RPG elements, doesn't mean the latter is a carbon copy of the original. I mean, based on that logic, people would have considered Borderlands to be a Fallout 3 rip-off. I'm sure that didn't happen when Borderlands was in development, though. Editado por Jack Hoops: 4/29/2014 6:06:01 AM
The game is almost four months from release. I've never seen a game of this high a profile having so little information on it this close to release.
Whoa whoa whoa. Calm down there, playa. Compared to most other franchises, Bungie has released a plethora of information in regards to Destiny. Just compare it to other games in the genre, like Tom Clancy's The Division. Both games were announced roughly at the same time, and both are being released at roughly the same time. The difference is that we've seen three gameplay videos and two cinematic trailers for Destiny, but only one gameplay video and one trailer for The Division. Quantum Break and The Order: 1886 were also announced around E3 2013, and have also been kept from public eyes more than Destiny. What, are you expecting them to release the entire storyline or something? My guess is that post-beta, more explicit details will start to surface in weekly updates. I also expect that a month or two from launch, we'll see another vidoc and a longer, more in-depth gameplay video. Until then, you're just going to have to wait it out. Find something interesting to do; I don't know. I'm not your parent. I can't tell you how to live your life.

I don't even have to read the 50 replies you got to know you should go ahead and delete your own post. What a brat.
-
Take this comment with a Grain of Salt, though.
-
I get what youre sayin Ive played Borderlands 1 n 2 and cant wait for the presequel but Destiny has its own unique style of gameplay.
-
The impatience is strong with this one. There will be plenty more released so just sit tight and don't do anything rash like cancel your pre-order, or heaven forbid not pre-order at all. Bungie has delivered some of the best games with Halo in particular, and if you are letting a lack of information this early(4 months is still quite a long time)spoil your excitement then just wait till all your friends are playing while you jealously watch and then proceed to the nearest retailer to purchase your own copy. Look forward to seeing you starside!
-
Lolz. I like that first part. That should be your personal quote.
-
Lol'ing at all of the little kids freaking out over your reply. I, for one, completely agree with you. I'm tired of having to wait for Bungie to release information, just to show us practically the exact same thing over again. Two of the same alien races, one of the two locations we've seen, essentially the same gameplay aspects. If this is all we're constricted to during E3 and the beta, then I am sincerely disappointed with Bungie. They need to do better in order to show what they've been working on for so long.

borderlands is in space...
-
Technically everything's in space :-P
-
I'd say Borderlands is more in Space then Destiny is. *sips tea*
-
Haha, it is isn't it!
-
Keep in mind the only reason we knew about this game over a year ago was due to a leak. And I'm not sure what exactly you were expecting, but this is shaping up to be another great game by the Bungie I know.
-
Could not agree more!!! I am sick of everyone's expectations. Let Bungie release their goodies as they please. If you are so displeased, get off the blog. Get off the website. Go troll COD blogs.
-
Thanks that's all wanted
-
Then I only have one thing to say don't judge a game by its cover
-
What cover? Two very boring gameplay videos are all I have to go on.

Editado por Burdened Legacy: 4/29/2014 2:03:00 PMDid you not read what the other people have posted?!?!?!?! It's like you reject the thought of being wrong and you have to find some ridiculous way to win the argument. Bungie is experienced, but they have not produced a game in 4 years. Meaning they've been working to try to make the ultimate gaming experience and try to make a game as good as Halo. Same thing happened to 343 with the release of Halo 4, look where they are now? First game and now they took a punch to the face. But they're not out of the match yet. Just like Bungie, they're working their hardest to make up for what they've done in hope to make their games more iconic than the other. To be all over the world and two videos is better than none in my opinion and I will not allow you to ruin my experience with this game. If your upset with Bungie go sit and pout in a corner cuz I frankly don't care what you have to say about Destiny. Now will you excuses me, I'm going to enjoy watching this video and play some Halo 2 afterwards! Good day sir. Catch you Star Side Guardians :3

Go play "Crap of Duty" like you know you want too, and let us Bungie fans bask in our moment. (haha) I happened to enjoy Borderlands 2, and thought it was a freaking fun game. It actually makes you work as a team. Oh Im sorry I didn't get to insult your momma, (not actually insulting yer mom here, just an example!) or teabag your corpse like they do on "Un-mordern Crapfare" We want a story driven, tense, atmospheric game, not another frag-fest clone of all the other FPS's out there. I believe we are not seeing what you want because they do not wish to spoil any "HOLY FRIGGIN SHITE" moments that they have in between all the boring bullet sponge moments, is all.
-
Editado por Toa Axis: 4/29/2014 2:42:13 AMWhere on Earth did you extrapolate that I play tonnes of CoD? I don't want a frag-fest. I want what Bungie has described the game to be, large in scope, an emphasis on player freedom, a great story, etc. But they have yet to slow any of that. I'm not just going to blindly believe in them just because they're Bungie (especially when their console output has been very inconsistent). I judge what I see, and what I see doesn't impress.
-
how does Bungie show everything they are saying their game is going to be without having a hundred thousand people play it online with you in the comfort of your home and experience it for yourself?... what, exactly do u want them to show you? you cant get the scope, the picture, feel or anything from these videos.. nor from any video usually, you just gotta see for yourself.
