I don't know... Sounds like it might break the system, unless the gear is regulated by your focus level... I mean, if a fully leveled Thunderlord was supposed to be used by a, let's say level 15 person, and it get's handed off to a level 4, what would happen? Not that anyone would hand off any of their exotics on purpose...

there are inventions like BoE gear Bind on Equip gear they bind to the guardian wants they get equipped or BoP bind on Pick up so no worries

FF XIV had, to that effect, that system... I thought it was stupid... It was a bind on use system.

but that way you can't lets say give your friend that is a few levels behind you a fully leveled thunderlord just so that he can get to a special loot guarded by cabal or something or sell a fully leveled thunderlord that's shady business

yes thats what i saw a lot in World of Warcraft people buying characters up that had everything not fun at all when you're doing a raid with them.
