The only reason I was an xbox kinda guy was because of Halo, and by this I mean pre Halo 4 Halo. I found H4 Lackluster and found my dreams of the universe slipping away. Anyone else on that same path? Apparently this is a item that scares my loved ones, they were quite shocked when I announced I was done being a fan of Halo (well I mean, ill always love the past games, but I'm not about this new Chief in a silly robe jazz)
UPDATE
heres a silly little site thats just gone live on it, note its just kind of a placeholder right now and the text is less to be desired, so I'll be changing things up, as you might have deduced, its currently simply an edition to a nostalgia online curation for an art school Graphic Design 2 class, so well, here we are

8 RespuestasEditado por Big Brit: 4/16/2014 3:34:55 AMYe, that website needs work, but it's placeholder as you said. I can't really figure out what to do with any of it, sometimes text pops up randomly, sometimes it doesn't. The objects seem to light up but I don't know why, and holy -blam!- that rainbow sidebar, just god why. My design teacher would kill some people. The actual look of the tv and the room, etc looks really good though, I like that, I can see it being cool after some work.

Agreed OP. Oh, and why is it that /v/, the biggest shithole on the internet, has much better Halo discussions than either BNET or Waypoint? Hell, even r/Reddit has better discussion that both of these shit shoots. Replayability-wise speaking, I don't know how anyone can tolerate Halo 4. I tried a few weeks ago, so boring and depressing. Had to stop after 30 minutes.

i haven't given up on the series but , 343i has alot to improve on. I'll admit after playing halo 4 on the third week i straight up hated them, and hated how they made halo more complex in other words worse. Taking notes from COD play book like every other game out there, made me think the franchise was just about dead. But until i heard that they were internally in conflict, and hearing about there recent hiring of MLG Halo players it brought some hope as well as having a beta for the next game. It made me realize that after, i had time to cool off, that this is there first halo game. They had alot of time to learn about the fanbase dislike and are at a point where they need to look at past halo games for answers. Because the truth is halo is an arena based shooter first an formost, as soon as those elements were taken out in favor of modernization the series plummeted. I don't believe 343i is stupid but I'm cautiously optimistic and whether or not they can pull off a halo game that is good. If they've learned from there mistakes and are listening to the core fanbase and i mean the ones who are actively trying to convince them to bring halo back to what it once was. Then they will succeed in my eyes. Alot of articles and them acknowledging that they are listenin,g is there but unfortuanly until we see anything, my confidence in them is very low.

5 RespuestasI hate it when people keep blaming it on 343, but honestly it is BUNGIEs fault. People all of a sudden started loving Halo: Reach once Halo 4 came out, and Reach was SHIT. It was a terrible game, and the worst in the series, Honestly, reach was worse than Halo 4. But everyone is just jumping on the typical "I hate the newest game" bandwagon. Yeah, 4 wasn't as good as the original trilogy, but Reach sucked too. And if Bungie didn't make such an effort to change away from the original trilogy gameplay (Which they definitely did in Reach), than 343 would have based their game more off of Halo 3 (a good game), than Halo: Reach.

1 RespuestaYup, it's been eclipsed by bf and titanfall

1 RespuestaDead as a doornail for me. Only interest I currently have now is in the rumour of a Halo 2 remake, and that's a pretty boring thing to get excited about.

3 RespuestasWhy you split-chin, heretic, son of a bitch....

3 RespuestasI sold my Xbox360 and all my games for $100. I only miss Halo 3
-
No even though halo was better when bungie made it
-
19 RespuestasOh yeah, 343 did a great job killing my love for Halo, that's for sure. Good thing is Bungie doing Destiny. ;)
-
After 2010 I did. I still love halo bungie style
-
It kills me seeing what 343i has made Halo into. Halo has always been my favorite franchise ever. Long live the Bungie Halos. Halo dying is heavily making me consider switching to PlayStation for my next gen console. The PS4 is just so impressive... and with Halo basically finished (Halo... it's finished.)...

1 RespuestaIf the next Halo is crap, it would be 3 strikes in a row and I'll call it quits. And I would want someone to make a poster or video on how Halo is gone and we should all move on for the good of the industry
-
4 Respuestas? How can I give up on a series that ended in 2010?
-
3 RespuestasHalo 5 will be the final straw for new Halo's. Halo 2 Anniversary will hold me together though.
-
1 RespuestaNo...I think 343 Industries are going back to Classic Halo with this next "main" game, and their going to take the story flak to the heart, and make it better. (which people seem think Halo 4 has the best story, anyways, so that's even better.)

4 RespuestasThe flame may flicker and faulter, but it will never truly die. When it rains, does a fire not waver? So too do we sit under some rain clouds. But in time, they will pass.

1 RespuestaI still like the series but I am just less enthused about it
-
Yeah Halo: Reach was the last good game from the series, 343 butchered the game it is pretty much another call of duty with aliens in it pretty much
-
I left the series when Bungie stopped being the developer for this game.
-
I haven't, and 343 didn't kill the story, they are getting they story from the books #HALO4EVER
-
No, I haven't. But, maybe you'll find Destiny will just be as captivating as Halo was for you before. Happy hunting!
