Summary of past events:
After coming out of the cave, I find a crude map that leads me through the tundra to an underground facility of sorts. I assume it to be the fabled college of mages.
Underground, I meet the same hooded figure from the cave. He introduces himself as 'Nāq' (Pronounced 'Nawk') and assists me throughout a series of "entry exams". These are twisted tests ranging from endless hallways to pitch black rooms strewn with books and shredded paper.
Where we are now:
The numbers on these doors appear to be in standardized ver lettering. They're labeled 121, 120, 119, all the way down to 100, where the staircase lie.
I approach door 100 and test the knob.
English
-
It's unlocked.
-
I open the door and proceed through.
-
You're in a room nearly identical to the first one; it's just as dirty, and even more dark.
-
I decide it's best to push on to the college, and back out of the room. I then ascend the staircase and observe the room numbers.
-
You climb the spiral staircase, eventually coming to a door at the top.
-
I open the door (if locked, I try the key) and peek in.
-
You find that the door isn't locked, but it only opens a crack. There must be something on the other side blocking it. It's wooden, with a brass handle.
-
I kick the door in attempt to break it down.
-
You kick it once, making it open a bit more. Your second kick breaks it down. Walking to the other side, you see that there was a board nailed to the other side of the wall. You find yourself in another hallway. This one has a steep incline, however, and is only about 20 meters long. There don't appear to be any doors, and it's just as dark as the rest of this place.
-
Falling on my hands, I rush up the incline.
-
You run up the slope, quickly reaching the end of the hallway. You don't see any kind of door, however. It appears to be a dead end.
-
Editado por FunguyV: 3/27/2014 2:09:15 PMI turn around and slide on my backside. I then descend the spiral staircase in search for an area to advance.
-
I'm just going to make this easy for you; there's something you missed at the end of the hallway.
You descend the stairs and look in all of the identical rooms, finding no kind of exit or doorway.
-
Thanks, guess my intelligence is lower than I made it to be.
On a whim, I reascend the staircase and observe the room more thoroughly.
-
lol
You walk back to the end of the sloped hallway and look all around. Just when you begin to think you went back up this way for nothing, you see a trapdoor above you.
-
"Must've been the darkness..." I mutter to myself. I reach up and tug at the trapdoor.
-
The trapdoor easily opens, a set of stairs sliding out. A bright stream of light floods the hallway. You can slightly see the tiled ceiling of the room above.
-
With a hysterical whoop of laughter, I ascend the staircase. "This could be it!" I say to myself silently.
-
You ascend the staircase, finding yourself in a well-lit storage room, by the looks of it. The light comes from a large window, as it seems that this room hasn't been touched in years. The remains of rotted apples and grain sit on the few shelves in the room. There is a door on the side of the wall, and you can hear distant voices from the other side.
-
I see no other option than to continue through the door. I cautiously open the door, not for what the voices may do to me, but what I may impress on them.
-
The door is stuck.
-
I insert the key from Nāq and try to open it.
-
The door opens, and you find yourself in a long, wide hallway. This one, however, is lit by lights on the ceiling, and has many young-looking people walking up and down it. Most are carrying books.
-
"Eureka!" I exclaim jubilantly. I walk to a student and ask, "Is this the college of mages?"
-
The students around you look at you quizzically following your exclamation. To answer your question, one of the students gives you a strange look and says "yes...."
