question for you Northerners
Why are most of u on this site always making fun of the south. Saying that we are stupid rednecks, gun nuts, last of all we are being made fun of our religion that's just sad. Then u wonder why society is so split up

1 RespuestaLived in both. Both the North and the South make fun of each other. The North makes fun of Canada. The south makes fun of either Mexico or Cuba. Neither is better than the other. It's just two different cultures, which really aren't any different. The people who actually believe the stereotypes are either untraveled or prejudiced idiots. [spoiler]Also, people in the South really are much more dumber than the North. Not even joking. The public school system down here in Texas, at least, is in shambles.[/spoiler]

45 Respuestasthe south deserves the hate they get. they have some of the worst education in the country, the highest teen pregnancy rates, and take in more federal funding than they put in, all the while criticizing people for doing exactly what theyre doing. did i mention that have some of the worst laws against women and gays?

The freind I was talking to was southern, and the other kept calling him a red neck. The southern kid was got mad, so I kicked the other kid off the party, and removed him as a freind.

4 RespuestasLet them make fun of the South, i don't care. I'v personally been up North, while i believe very few that make fun of the South have ever been down here. And while the South is statistically worse in a lot of categories, the North sucks. People are rude, cities are horrible, and the overall atmosphere is just not friendly. Completely opposite down here.
