In regards to funding, a single .22 bullet is really cheap.

Even I think that's reprehensible. Unless you're talking about things which debilitate the person, like severe Down's Syndrome or something else which makes them fundamentally more of a burden. Things like NPD, ASPD, MDD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar et cetera should be treated to the best degree possible.

I was partially joking, partially being serious. I feel that diseases that are treatable should be treated. But why let a child be born into a life of severe brain damage?
-
I condone this. Abortions for all the weaklings.

<.< Elaborate, if you would.

Certain mental illnesses are cureable, or rather, treatable. Others, there is absolutely nothing you can do. Such as Down Syndrome. Why have an unecessary burden when we already have a robust and thriving population? Why keep around members of society who will never be helpful? That's why I support pre-birth genetic alteration. If not to stop a child from being born mentally handicapped, then to stop him bejng born at all. It's the same philosophy I have with people who are mentally insane. Who have uncurable mental illnesses that devolop over time and latently manifest.

Hoping this is bait... I know some people with Downs who are socially incompetent, yet massively smarter than any of the major physicists you see in the news.

Ah I see. A .22 is pretty weak though, you should probably go with something a lot heavier if you want to make it clean. .308 might not be cheap but that should do the job. Morbid thoughts aside, Not everyone with Downs is a useless burden to society I can link to a few videos/articles regarding this later tonight if you wish. That being said, most downs syndrome children are aborted in the UK and thus are never born. Which isn't ideal but understandable. As for the mentally ill, even the worst cases of fubar can sometimes be cured. Rarely, it has to be said and for some people they are basically forced to be alive with no QOL and simply meds to keep them sedated. Euthanasia would be kinder, but to suggest shooting the disabled and mentally ill simply because they are a burden rustles my jimmies quite a bit. Put it this way, I'd have torn you several new shrektums over this if I didn't respect you in the first place. Being dead tired right now probably has made me less volatile as well. Try to reconsider it though.

I really did it for flamebait. So sue me. A single .22 does the trick. One in the back of the skull, bounces around, make scrambled eggs.

Lols, I guess I am pretty tired then.
