The concept of applying evil to an opinion is retarded, kinda like saying gay marriage is evil, is a retarded opinion.

3 RespuestasJust trying a few different ones here. "Is being opposed to interracial marriage evil?" "Is being opposed to polygamous marriage evil?" "Is being opposed to Caucasian-only marriage evil?" "Is being opposed to 'black marriage' evil?" "Is being opposed to heterosexual marriage evil?" "Is being opposed to Christian-only marriage evil?" "Is being opposed to religious-only marriage evil?" "Is being opposed to atheist-only marriage evil?" "Is being opposed to man-pillow marriage evil?"

It's not 'evil', but it does make you a dick. And probably pretty stupid.
-
I think "evil" implies malicious INTENT. For most people I think it's just stubborn adherence to the status quo.
-
1 RespuestaOf course it is. You're only allowed to have an opinion if you agree with the liberals.
-
12 RespuestasOpposing something that causes absolutely no harm to you or others is pretty ridiculous.
-
No, its not. Imo opinion its not even being bigoted, though thats surely the label p.c drones will tag you with.
-
People should be allowed to do what they want so long as it doesn't harm another human being and we shouldn't try stopping them. This is coming from a Christian too. The Bible does say it's a sin, but it also says let he who has not sinned throw the first stone. What someone does is between them and God and I don't care as long as it doesn't harm anyone.
-
Is being opposed to evil marriage gay?
A little bit, yeah.
-
It's unnatural but no it's not a "bad" thing
-
I dont think its evil. My opinion is that gays should have every right to be able to form a legal union with a person they love and get all of the perks along with it that anyone in a marriage does. I just dont agree with it being called a "marriage". Id more agree with the term "civil union" or something like that. I see marriage as more of a union between a man and woman. And once again. This is just my opinion. I in no way have anything against people attracted to the same gender. They are just normal people trying to do what makes them happy.
-
I think so, yes
-
10 RespuestasNot "evil", just nonsensical. They're not hurting anyone by getting married for their reasons. What? Are you going to ban Muslims or Buddhists from praying because they aren't praying to Jehovah?
-
Nope it is your right to do so.
-
I'm not sure it'd be considered evil, but I'd consider it stupid.
-
No. It's called having an opinion. But being an obnoxious, bigoted asshole about it isn't right.
-
>implying such a thing as "good" exists.
-
No, because it's your opinion. We all have a right to an opinion, even if others may disagree with it.
-
7 RespuestasNot "evil", just retarded.
-
3 RespuestasFirst, evil is far too intense a word. I wouldn't call being opposed to something as evil. That being said, I think it's wrong to take rights away from others because you don't like them. If they don't effect you and it beings the world closer to equality then why would you be opposed?

62 RespuestasI'm rather indifferent regarding this issue. While in recent times if you oppose homosexuality in the slightest you're suddenly a callous and evil person/ organization, I think it's a perfectly valid opinion to oppose homosexuality. Homosexuality is essentially in violation of morals held in high regard up until this point in history, and therefore some people disagree with it. This doesn't make them "evil" or the action of opposing it "evil", as many people who do oppose it are very kind and compassionate. As I said, I'm rather indifferent regarding the legality of gay marriage. Being a Christian, I believe homosexuality to be inherently wrong, but that doesn't mean that I'm rude and inconsiderate to homosexuals. In my opinion, as long as voicing your opinions doesn't include blind hate and ignorance *Cough* Westboro Baptist Church *cough* it's perfectly fine to oppose something that many people campaign for.
-
4 RespuestasAbsolutely not, I'm against it but that doesn't mean I despise anyone who is gay.
-
I say, go ahead and get married, just don't let my taxes pay for it.

Editado por rocketFox: 2/1/2014 6:59:41 PMI wouldn't say evil because that implies all sorts of things. However I would say mind bogglingly narrow minded, antiquated, illogical, homophobic, and almost certainly indoctrinated.
-
Evil? Of course not. I'd argue it's highly illogical though.
