The more time I spend in the gaming community the more I think I'm some sort of anomaly because I own Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo consoles...
-
Yeah man Bungie is cheating on us. Get over yourself.

4 RespuestasShut the -blam!- up about this. Xbox players got Halo for years. Holy shit, you xbox supremacist fanboys, shut up. You're almost as bad as the PC nerds. I have had both, I prefer sony's consoles. I have nothing against Xbox. I think you are the whiniest group of gamers out there. Bunch of damn kids. Play what YOU prefer and stop caring about which console gets what first. You may be loyal but not one single company is loyal to you. I wish ps4 had titanfall, but we don't. I won't be buying an xbone just for one game. Guess what? I won't be bitching about it. Grow up.

Frankly, it had little to do with being betrayed, cheated, or left behind. Is strictly business, and business alone. The gaming industry is a curvy line to walk and making such a big budget project and ONLY making it for a single console is foolish. Halo was as good as it was only for xbox, those who did not have it for xbox. Where not fans. If destiny where to only come out for Xbox then bungie would be unable to reach the full support of other console gamers. Frankly this is a really smart move. They can now reach out to every type of gamer for almost every system. Making them more infamous, and more money. Its not about Microsoft Its not about Sony Its about making fans, and making money. So far they are doing a very good job with that. I mean Destiny wont be out for another 6 months and they already have half the world on the edge of their seats biting their nails in anticipation for the game.

Do you think there are any old Bungie Mac fans still fuming that Halo was made for the Xbox instead of the Mac as originally planned? And now Destiny?
-
I feel betrayed.

1 Respuesta
Just wanted some opinions on this matter.
Why should you give a crap about what billion dollar companies do to each other? They aren't your friends. Quit being so naive. Business is business.
-
Y Just let them be who they want to be
-
Apparently just about no one on here understands how marketing works
-
1 RespuestaIt's a good thing that both consoles are getting Destiny, but it's not a good thing for Bungie to work with Activision. Apparently, it was the latter's idea to favor the PlayStation and give them exclusive content. But aside from that, screw the console war.
-
2 RespuestasI feel betrayed that they get the game first
-
I am happy that both PS and Xbox will experience a Bungie game. I'm mostly a PS fan, but I do own an Xbox 360 because I loved Halo. Now that Bungie has moved on, it's a good thing. The opportunities to experience this have expanded.
-
This, again? Why do you care?
-
They will never stop asking these questions. Never to accept to move on...
-
2 Respuestas-blam!-ing stupid question. This whole "exclusive to a specific console" thing is retarded and everyone who perpetuates this in the gaming industry should die.
-
Can't gamers be gamers already? It's been decades and people still bicker over who is better when those who don't play games mock and laugh at our disorganized, hate-filled community. Let Destiny be the first step to a united community of gamers

Editado por Hwaorong: 3/17/2014 6:50:36 AMIn no way what so ever. Im glad its for both xbox and PS. That way me n my friends can play on respective consoles and no one misses out.

Bungie is doing the right thing in my opinion. This time around they decided to appeal to the masses instead of having a contract of working under Microsoft. Good on you Bungie.

3 RespuestasIn this hyper expensive AAA market being a console exclusive is bad for business. The high risks, long development, Pr stuff, etc all add up those $$$. These studios and publishers need to make back their money on these investments fast and make a profit. Why would you want to handicap yourself to only being a Microsoft game, or a Sony game. I see the age of the console exclusive coming to an end much sooner than most may think.

If brand loyalty makes you use CAPITAL LETTERS!111!! too often or attack other people on their choice of home entertainment...then you've been brainwashed. The fact of the matter is we all shell out more than enough money to enjoy our video games and no one should be made to feel bad about their choice of money gobbler/game system.
-
Good to see people chose the right one here.

3 RespuestasI'm not bent out of shape about it. I'm sticking with Xbox because they are still coming out with Halo games and because Titanfall looks awesome. I'm sick of gamers who, regardless of console choice, feel the need to make other people feel like their choice of entertainment is "wrong" or inferior. I hate the Xbox fanboys who say that Bungie owes its success to Microsoft (which they don't - Bungie was a fantastic developer before Microsoft bought them and would have eventually gotten big on their own) and I can't stand the PS fanboys who rant about how much Xbox "sucks." We all play games, and we should leave the whole "what console are you buying" argument - because that is almost all it is - on sites that encourage that. Destiny comes out on both - let's talk about that game, not who's console is better.
-
Editado por Pikachu_Got_Game: 3/4/2014 12:45:51 PMIt isn't bungies fault it is activisions fault. Activision had the choice about the play station destiny beta coming before Xbox not bungie.
-
1 RespuestaBungie originally made games for Mac only, the first halo was supposed to be made for Mac but Microsoft bought there way in. The truth is why go into one next gen console when you can go into two and make double the profit.

2 RespuestasI hate xbox for many reasons
