i loved 7th grade. had ups and downs. got my first kiss and first rejection. OT: dont get down. if you're in 7th grade you're either 12 or 13.(unless you were held back). You have YOUR WHOLE life ahead of you. if anything just try to enjoy middle school and later highschool. i know what you're feeling. i as like you but in 8th grade when everything seemed to suck. Just keep making good memories and keep looking ahead.

3 RespuestasEditado por aBallisticToucan: 1/18/2014 7:52:49 AMAlright son, I guess I can lend my two cents. 1. If you feel like you're "just okay" with friendships and stuff and don't having any real depth in your friendships, don't worry about it. You may feel like you're growing up, and you're starting to; but it's going to be a while before you really start making life-long connections. The fact that you seem to care more about these things than the average kid your age is a good sign. 2. If you still want better people to hang out with, try finding kids that are into the same things you are. If you really go looking and use all of your resources, you'll find others that will be easier to spend your time with. 3. You're going to be in high school before you know it. When you get there, just play it cool. Upperclassmen you meet in the hallways aren't going to go out of their way to give you breaks. Just keep an eye on what you look like and scope out the good kids from the kids that look like assholes (but don't go off of your first instinct on each kid before really learning more about 'em.) It's a pretty shitty deal to be a kid in his early teens, but you'll get through it. 4. If you're feeling down because you hear people talking about being "boyfriend girlfriend" right now, don't worry about it at all. 7th grade is too early to seriously get into a relationship, and I guarantee that those kids just want to look cool. You'll look back in a few years and laugh at the concept of "middle school dating." Not sure if this helps, but I'm just writing from my own experiences.

Editado por Brickman274: 1/18/2014 8:48:56 PMAh 7th grade, fun times.... They get better, as long as you realize you should live for yourself and if you want a special someone next to you, you have to go and talk to people, become friends with different kinds of people. You're young, you have till thirty-five to truly worry about living alone. It's sounds like BS right now, but in time you'll realize you are not alone.... You'll be alone if you push everyone away without giving them a chance to be your friends...

Look dude, you still probably live with your parents. You will find loneliness once you move out, get an appartment in some town where you have never been before and know no one and then, when you sit in that appartment, alone and with nothing to do - you will find it.
-
2 RespuestasYou have no idea what loneliness is yet kid...wayy too young to even comprehend it. Plus having a girlfriend in middle school doesn't really count anyways.

I remember 7th grade. Loved every second of it. So weird, but looking back and all I have is fond memories of high school. It gets better and it gets worse, OP.

Eh, we all go through lonely periods in our lives, it's especially rough transitioning into the teenage years if you didn't have many friends to begin with. My advice, try your best to be a nice person, don't hesitate to talk to people, embarrassment never matters in the long run hehe.

You're in middle school, middle school honestly kinda sucks. and you'll be in high school soon which is where things really start to go uphill, you make deeper, longer lasting friendships (met my best friend in the world freshman year of high school), you get a lot more freedom in your life: choosing classes, going places with friends, driving. Romance starts to be a thing , you'll meet girls (or guys, I don't judge), have prom, maybe even get lucky ;). And just overall growing as a person, greater world view, tons of new interests and directions for your life to go in. So trust me, it's all uphill from here
