We have evolved in the past few decades. We are no longer a species of vertebrates, we are a single organism. We are a "virus" for this earth (not trying to sound emo)
Think about it. We are constantly trying to change the environment to better suit our living. Why? Because we no longer belong as part of the environment such as other organisms.
We are uncomfortable on this planet and have permanently changed it to accommodate our existence. But we have been like this since the beginning, but why? Other creatures evolve drastically in the face of environmental danger, but we remain basically the same and then change the environment. But why have we always been like this?
Humans are not part of THIS biosphere, but a DIFFERENT one! We are trying to recreate our natural birthplace!
Where this is I do not know, but this is just something that dawned on me.

That's what makes humans so special compared to other species.
