Hello everyone, Brad Pitt here. Recently I was saved by the grace of our God, and I wish to also through the Power of God show you the way to Salvation. I wondered for many years how to be saved, and I wish to shed light for those who have wondered the same thing.
The Way of Salvation:
I'm sure many of you have heard the sayings of "let Jesus come into your heart" or "He has made those 99 steps, just take that last one" or "knock and the door will be open to you" or "He is knocking on your door, answer it and let Him in" or have had John 3:16 shoved down your throat. I am here to tell you something different. Chances are, you have never heard this approach. For those who are familiar with Calvinism, this may seem familiar to you.
First and foremost, YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF. Do you think that God will accept you based on your good deeds? Think again. Good people do not see the Kingdom of God. This will blow some of your minds, but there is, in fact, two ways into heaven. Perfection, and Christ. Those of you who are "good", are you perfect? Without flaw or blemish? For Gods standard is perfection (Matt 19:21). Can you say you are perfect with a true heart? King David, the great Psalmist, says you cannot. He says we are born into sin. Conceived in iniquity (Psalm 51:5). Therefore, I just eliminated one of your two options completely. Leaving you with one option; Christ Jesus.
Did you know you cannot choose Him either? Did I just eliminate your only other option for salvation? I sure did. That's right, you cannot choose Christ. You must be granted the right to become one of his children from the Heavenly Father.
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. - John 6:44

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. - John 15:16

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. - John 1:12
Quite clearly, we have that we are not perfect, and only God the Father chooses who will be saved. So what are our options? What can we do? Nothing. We have none. Salvation is a grace that God grants to some people, not all. WHY YOU ASK? Why does God not grant salvation to every person on this earth, past, present, and future? To tell you the truth, God shouldn't grant salvation at all. We are so sinful and wicked, that we all deserve death and judgment! But God being merciful, made a way to reconcile us to Him. Why isn't everyone reconciled? Christians, ask yourself this question: is the blood of Christ powerful enough to save every single lost soul? I'm willing to wager we will all say yes. If that is the case; WHY DOESN'T IT? Is the blood truly not powerful enough to save hardhearted men? Does it only get through a few people out of many? Is that the power of our Saviors blood? Absolutely not. For Isaiah says:
"So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." (Isa 55:11)
We learn in John 1 that "Word" is Jesus. God sent Jesus out to "accomplish that which I (God) purpose". His purpose was salvation for man for His Glory. John 6:37 says: "all that the Father (God) gives to Me (Jesus) WILL come to Me."
To us Christians: one thing we must realize about this world is found in 1 Corinthians 1:18-15 and John 12:39-40:
18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written,
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
20 Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. 22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

39Therefore they could not believe. For again Isaiah said,
40 “He has blinded their eyes
and hardened their heart,
lest they see with their eyes,
and understand with their heart, and turn,
and I would heal them.”
Brethren, we must realize that the worlds "eyes" have been blinded, and their "wisdom" destroyed. Preaching Christ is a "stumbling block" for the world. It is only intended for those who are chosen to be saved by the Power of God. But who blinded their eyes? God did. How you ask, or why? For the purposes of his will. For his Glory. God doesn't owe anyone on this earth a chance or Salvation. He granted it mercifully. But not to all. Because if God purposed all to be saved, they would be, just as Isaiah says above.
But some of you may say that it isn't fair for God to save some and not all. Take a good look around this forum. How many of these users do you see wanting anything to do with God? Is God really unjust to hand them over to their own desires? Romans 1 clears this up:
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
David in Psalms 14 says: "There is no one does good, not even one."
Is God really not just to give anyone or some over to their own desires? Absolutely not. He shouldn't have saved anyone.
In Romans 9, it talks about the authority God has over His own creation:
15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.
19 You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— 24 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?
You see? The whole point of saving some and not all is to "make known the riches of his glory and mercy (grace)". For how would we understand the depths of His grace if some didn't suffer? We wouldn't. You must understand both sides. With this, we give more praise to our Lord for having compassion on us. For now we understand the grace behind which He chose us; "for the purposes of his will" as Paul says.
Now, how does one become saved one may ask. It is very simple; Christ. God WILL draw you to Him. It says so very clearly.
Is God drawing you brother or sister? Have you felt the weight of your sin? Has conviction over taken you? Have you tried to live by the law and works and legality and lived in misery because of it? Be free of this, for the burden of Christ is light, and his yoke is easy (Matt 11:30).
How to be Saved:
You must first be drawn by God. You may have been feeling this drawing for years and have been running from it.
Next, you must realize there is nothing you can do that will save you. You must realize that the ONLY hope for you is your DESPERATE need for a Savior. Someone who has already lived a perfect life and is willing to transfer it over into your account. YOU MUST ADMIT YOUR POVERTY OF SPIRIT. You are dead in sin, you NEED God to awaken you, and Christ to carry you.
Lastly, Faith.
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” - Acts 16:31
Do not just believe in Jesus, believe ON what he has done for you. By his merits are we reconciled to God, not our own. Faith is more than believing in the existence of Christ, it is believing ON that he is your ONLY hope.
Is God calling you? Stop running. Come and enjoy the Fullness of God. Only He can truly satisfy.

1 RespuestaI don't know about all that... I look at it this way: He DOES will for everyone to be saved, (and of coarse He could make it happen) but He also made us with free will. He wants us to CHOOSE HIM. Not destiny or predetermined service. (why am I getting involved with all these issues?)

While I have already been through all of the steps you've described. I can safely say that you're confused. You got your facts mixed up there but some of the things you said were correct.
