So I've recently been considering a career in the military. However, I can't decide which one to go for - Army infantryman or Naval warfare officer - or whether it's the right choice for me in the first place (hence the third option).

As a former army member, it was great but the Navy will give you more skills for after your service is up
-
What do you want to do?
-
9 RespuestasDepends on what you wanna do. If you wanna kill people in person join the Army. If you wanna kill people behind a computer screen join the Navy. If you're a wannabe frat boy with the education level of a chimp, join the Marines.

4 RespuestasThere is more buttsex in the Navy.

3 RespuestasJoin the USAF. It's got a much higher standard of living and similar jobs to what you're looking for.

IN THE NAVY you can sail the seven seas! IN THE NAVY you can help your fellow man!
-
Be a seaman, so you can be on the deck, with lots of men. Be around on the poopdeck, with just men!
-
Be part of the SAS or Green Berets.

1 RespuestaI doubt you'd like it. You have to remember you'd be surrounded by a bunch of people with very simplistic views of the world who won't be willing to learn anything about all your views you have and who'd likely kick your ass for disagreeing with them. I doubt you'd handle constantly being around people so vastly different from you.

1 RespuestaI'd be careful about joining at the moment/near future, The retarts in charge (Tories) seem to be cutting the armed forces down to toy soldiers and jeeps. I exaggerate of course but seriously, it wouldn't surprise me if they cut so many corners and costs you end up using a rowing boat and an air rifle ._. I'd mulled over the possibility of joining the Army as a Mental Health Officer/Psych, but I think that's towards the lower end of likely for actually happening. At a guess though, you'd make a better Infantry officer than Naval. Just a hunch and of course I could well be wrong, it depends on what you feel would suit you better.

1 Respuestabe a drone pilot that's what I would consider

Editado por ANABOLIC INO: 1/12/2014 3:33:36 PMI'd say Army. My brother had a drug problem, so we sent him to rehab and he cleaned himself up and got pretty buff while he was there. He joined the military and made some of the highest ASVAB scores and marks in classes. Made some of the highest training scores, and was his Squad Leader. Also was Student Master Sargent, so he could command other students. While most of this is pretty irrelevant to your case, my brother started off as PFC and was invited to go Special Forces. He never replied to the invitation so they forced him to go. Not the best advice but if you take it seriously and work hard you could go SF and make more money. EDIT: Also I wouldn't wanna be on a boat in the middle of nowhere for extended periods of time.

Naval Warfare Officer, my stepdad has been in this job for 5 years now he has traveled from Petra to Australia you name it :) He says even though it's stressful at times it's worth it.
-
I don't care... But I'll vote navy because I think boats are cool.
-
The Navy.
-
Join the Marines instead.

If you can go in as an Officer, going in as an enlisted infantryman would make your brain melt due to the amount of stupid you'd be surrounded by.
