COD BLOPS 3 vs Destiny
With the recent anouncemence from Treyarch and Activision, its been confirmed that we are gettin a Next Gen COD this fall, and its gonna be the new BLOPS game.
Currently the best COD game on Xbox Live and extrememly competative some may say more competative than ghost but the numbers dont show that competedness which I think shows more than ghosts did.
Since Destiny is coming out in Septermber, this puts it head to head with the number 1 game of all time. Bungie has some serious work cut out for it if its gonna hold it audience.
Now Ive played MW2, Mw3, and blops 1 was good blops 2 was probably better though both were all right, when ghosts came out, did anyone else feel bored? Even though it was #1 Im still more excitin for Destiny cause its in space.
It should have the same feel but a much better story and probs better design too. But is anyone else wondering if Bungie can really hold its audience against a #1 developer? Everyone I know at school is talking about the Next gen COD blops 3 right now
My opinion, if you dont like it plz dont rage. lookin to hear yours too since i like both destiny and COD and both are good shooters.

Would you mind providing a link to this announcement? Plus, when you say Call of Duty is the greatest game of all time, do you mean that statistically or is it just your opinion? That being said, if Treyarch plans to make another Black Ops, I might buy it.

I played MW and MW2, since then I've never really held an interest in any CODs because they were all the same. Destiny on the other has an actual story backing it with great RPG elements. So no, COD can suck it. I want Destiny.

2 RespuestasI have no fear what so ever that CoD could beat Destiny. I think by now most gamers want something new, i.e Titanfall and of course Destiny. My very good educated guess is that CoD will die in this generation of game consoles.

I really enjoyed the feeling of playing it when it worked properly, but the franchise peaked quite some time ago. The latest installment is the laziest to date, and I only found that out by buying the game. It would literally take universal praise for me to be at all interested in BLOPS3. I'll check out youtube videos out of curiosity, but that's about it. EDIT: The last poll option ... WTF?! ... How could the most basic shooter format be "more next-gen" than the ground-breaking format of destiny?

The game has more in common with borderlands and that's still weak. I hope it's nothing like CoD as I can't stand it or BF. I'm wanting adventure to group with friends and to have fun. Not to play 24 vs 24 and have some 4 year old screaming down my ear that I'm crap and to kill myself. So please for the love of god. Treat this game as it's own creation and stop comparing it to other games. Grr.

This is a sign of the apocalypse, CoD will never surpass destiny's epicness. All the CoD's are the same they just slap a new name on it and then nine year olds think "ERMAGASH DIS ES TE BEST GAME EVR" and stop playing the good games like Halo.

But I actually do want to be serious now. Bungie is a far better developer, storyteller, and all around a better gaming company. They invented so much stuff that revolutionized the modern shooter. In fact, without Halo, there would be no CoD, especially in the multiplayer department. It's a shame they don't get enough credit for what they've done for the gaming industry. Plus, Halo destroys CoD on the story telling aspect. The Halo series was not only an amazing SciFi games, but even provided social commentary on Fundamentalism. That's gotta be worth some points. Plus, if they're universe spans multiple series of best selling books and comics, you know they're doing something right. So, do I think Bungie can hold it's own against Treyarch? Hell yeah they can. And they can blow em right outa the water. As for Activision, they're making a pretty stupid move releasing 2 high end games so close to each other. Now they can only make half the profits. *Disclaimer* Let be known I am not raging. I'm simply trying to have a decent and intellectual conversation on the internet with someone who's views differ from mine... Boy this is gonna last a whole 2 seconds.

I am ok with call of duty, but with the combination of destiny, titanfall, and halo 5, I think it would be unwise to release a new call of duty game this year. Personally the call of duties have become so repetitive that I think destiny will be the better game by far.

Its a good thing that the COD fanbase will have Destiny to switch too. Its a big community and they will fit right in with Destiny.

I don't remember when cod was ever "next gen" it's so easy to develop. There's not even anything too it. Since when has a cod game been any different out of the entire series it was developed
