It's currently half 2 in the morning and i cant sleep, as my door keeps rattling. And it doesnt help that a short while ago I was caught off guard by a shock video. So I guess I'll just stay up and guard the door to keep whatever malevolent entity is outside my room at bay. I know its not real, but the child who learned to fear ghosts never truly goes away.

No, because I'm not superstitious?

1 RespuestaEditado por o_____________o: 1/3/2014 3:04:54 PMDemons? Yes. They are probably responsible for ghost manifestations.
-
No. I only believe in extraterrestrial aliens.
-
Yes I do believe in them. They won't bug you if you don't big them or go looking for trouble.
-
I used to believe in ghosts. Then i turned 5. The problem I have with grown adults who believe in ghosts/ demons/ the supernatural/ any sort of superstition is that it makes them extremely vulnerable to con artists who prey on silly beliefs such as those. Don't get me wrong, everyone has some beliefs that are patently silly or nonsensical. But we should try to stamp them out whenever possible.

Get a gun and unload into the door.

Only when I'm trying to sleep after seeing a particularly scary horror movie.

Anyone call for the ghostbusters?

This black bag keeps blowing around outside on my deck turning on the security light.

16 RespuestasEditado por Predator5791: 1/3/2014 3:42:37 AMGhosts, no. Demons, yes. If you believe in the Christian God, scripture in The Bible tells us of the existence of demons, however, makes no mention of Ghosts. To believe in ghosts is to believe in purgatory, a plain of existence not mentioned in either The Old Testament or The New Testament. The origin of this belief traces back to and was contrived by the Roman Catholics.

Editado por Progo: 1/3/2014 4:56:49 AMI don't, at least not in the traditional "spooky" way. But I believe people who tell me they saw something. Hallucinations are real for the person having them. I am currently up in the air (as a Christian) about demons being sentient.

Ye, I hate the thought of seeing one, but I so want to see one xD

2 RespuestasThis will sound ridiculous but I really didn't until I tried ecstasy. When I was coming down I saw faces in the room, faces I'd never seen before in my life and had conversations in my mind with people about stuff I swear I didn't know about. It was really weird, yeah I was hallucinating but part of me can't help but think taking that drug let me see another plain of reality and ghosts/demons we can't when seeing the world with a sober preoccupied and rational mind. Lol I sound mad.
-
I believe in some serious energy that could be perceived as a "ghost" to some.
-
2 RespuestasNo, I'm a rational person.
-
Yes you foolish humans monsters aren't real keep believing that yes and one day I shall appear in your deepest darkest fear yeees...
-
2 RespuestasThe trick is to learn that the monsters in the stories are not real...they are monsters of the mind. The only monsters you have to fear are people...
-
No. Ghosts are fiction, a concept, an idea. Anytime we encounter something that we cannot explain we rationalise into something simple - in this case, a ghost. But why a ghost? I think its because usually ghosts or portrayed as a malevolent force, which maybe stems from the idea that ghosts are generally unhappy entities (the source of their discontent originates from the fact that they cannot pass into the after-life, such as heaven or hell, and must therefore roam the earth unable to fully communicate with another for eternity).
-
Yes and no. Yes because my paranoia and imagination say so. No because they are not real.

22 RespuestasEditado por Banned Gatsby: 1/3/2014 3:55:22 PMMaybe evil entities, I witnessed that shit first hand. You can't explain faucets turning themselves on, tv's turning on at 2 am or the sounds of people running up and down the stairs when visibly there's nothing there. My uncle moved into a house for two weeks and left straight after, I stayed the night after hearing that shit was going on. They hurried themselves once my little cousin said she had saw someone by the attic flap door. Freaky as -blam!-.
-
My house had a demonic haunting.
