Bungies recent interest and partnership with Playstation was a huge factor in me switching over from a decade long xbox fan, to purchasing a PS4. Though I am new to the PSN community, would love some of my 7th columnist to add me.
PSN username - FleeZur
Edit - also I would love to hear others opinions on this switch. And if anyone else is backing Bungie on their favoring of Sony. I knew I was taking a risk joining another online community, and hoping a lot of my XBL Friends migrate with me. Let me know if your an Xbox fan and is thinking about or already switched over to Playstation.

Bungie doesn't favor Sony, they signed a media deal to bolster fanbase on a platform that isn't well-versed in the Bungie experience. They know Xbox users are on board, this is them getting the Sony users on board as well.

Consoles made me switch to PC.

3 RespuestasBungie didn't make you do anything. You chose to switch to PS 4. Be a man and live up to the fact that this is the choice that you made. As far as what I think of it? Why should I give a shit about what one inconsequential teenager does? What you do is a headache your parents get to deal with, not me. I've got my own kids to worry about.
-
I'm in the same boat, but not solely because of Bungie's decisions.
-
Going by the general vibe I've gotten from online communities outside of b.net, you won't be alone. By that I mean, Destiny is slowly gaining a strong following in the Sony community. By the time launch rolls around finding people to fill up your friends-list won't be an issue.

3 RespuestasWorst reasoning for switching, ever.

4 RespuestasIf Bungie made you do it, and nothing else, you made a mistake bro. Destiny isn't that great to make you switch consoles. Xbox still has Halo, and despite that the recent iteration hasn't been all that good, there's still a chance for the next, and Playstation doesn't have that many great exclusives anyway (unless you like single-player games and indies).
-
I'm not going to switch to PS, but playstation players, at least let me know how Destiny is when you play the beta first.
-
2 RespuestasI'm with OP, but I bought both consoles. I favor the PS4 so far, simply because the graphics are just better and I want to play the version of Destiny that will look the best. On PS4.
-
You do what you wanna do, I've been with Xbox too long to switch, plus a million other reasons
-
No you chose to do so
-
Sorry you probably don't want to hear this. But to switch consoles mainly because of one game (that even isn't an exclusive) seems a tad excessive. If Destiny was a PS exclusive I may sort of get it. All that gaming history though up in smoke. I would never do that, and my main reason isn't even brand loyalty, its that games are usually not as good as what they are cracked up to be. Each to their own though, hope you enjoy your PS4 and playing Destiny on it.

17 RespuestasI'm not going to get a PS4 because of Bungie. I'm going to get a PS4 because Microsoft shot themselves in the foot. If Destiny has a PC release, I won't be getting any consoles. But if it's only the next gen, then I'll be getting the game for the PS4.
-
you seriously switched cuz ps gets it first wow
-
That's a weird reason to switch
-
I will prob eventuality get a PS4 but Xbox is main and it will never change! PS is only for exclusives I would never change for a little of content
-
I am a Xbox fan and will be going X1 this gen. Destiny has only timed exclusives for the PS4, Xbox will get everything eventually. Pretty bad reason to switch.
-
First off, Bungie doesn't have a partnership with Playstation. Activision has a partnership with Sony, in which Destiny (Activision) gets some sort of exclusive content on Playstation 4 (Sony). Second, my opinion on choosing a certain console because one game (that we still don't really know much about, it could be a total flop for all we know, though its not likely) on that console gets add-on content first or is exclusive in other ways, is quite ignorant. Of course, this is my opinion and others will disagree. For example, if I were you FleeZer, I would see if my friends were willing to go with the Playstation 4 first, and then decide to get the PS4 for Destiny exclusive content. Thats just me though. Either way, hope you enjoy your PS4. I've played one at my friend's house and its pretty good, but its not for me, it just doesn't have the exclusives I like and besides that one friend, most of them are on Xbox.

16 RespuestasThe first person to switch rather than complain about Activision's actions. Thank you for not being an idiot. PSN: Stigatron Add me just in case i forget to add you!

you mean activations interest in Sony.

1 RespuestaEditado por Vampire Nox: 12/14/2013 4:46:51 PMPssst, OP; no one cares about you switching tampon brands...
-
I'm staying with Xbox.
-
If that's the case then you are one terrible consumer.
-
2 RespuestasOnce again Congratulations.

That is a big decision to make over a game that won't be exclusive. I can see why you did it though, I won't be surprised if Destiny becomes a Playstation exclusive at this point. Good luck, hope you enjoy.
